This weekend was such a great reminder of why continuing education and the conversations that happen around it matter so much.
A huge thank you to Sierra Sharpe and International Hearing Society (IHS) for taking the time to coordinate and organize this training and for creating an environment where we could learn, ask questions, and have open conversations about the real-world challenges we encounter in hearing healthcare.
A very special thank you to Samantha Sikorski for taking the time to teach, educate, guide, answer what felt like a million questions π
, and so openly share your knowledge and experience with us. Your willingness to explain not only the what, but the why behind it was incredibly valuable.
And to everyone who attended thank you for sharing your experiences, challenges, successes, and lessons learned. There is so much value in sitting in a room with people who do this work every day and are willing to openly learn from one another.
As this industry continues to evolve, we're constantly focused on staying current and moving forward. But this weekend was also a great reminder that sometimes one of the best ways to grow is to revisit the fundamentals with more experience behind you. You hear things differently, notice things you may not have noticed before, and come away with an entirely different perspective.
I'm left with refreshed knowledge, new perspectives, some things I want to take a closer look at, and plenty of ideas to bring back to HSMedBilling and the providers we work with.
Thank you, Sierra, IHS , Samantha, and everyone who made this weekend so worthwhile! π
