You can on see what you are trained to see or willing to see?

What if the struggle you or someone you love is dealing with is simple of just a change in perspective?

I meet with people and professionals every day that have struggled far to long only because of the perspective they were trained on.

What if we looked at systems vs symptoms?
What if we look at processes instead of problems?
What if we looked at causes?
What if we discuss solutions vs management?

There are a lot of people using medications and diets to loose weight. With some of these methods there are effects and side affects. Some of the common ones I am seeing in people are:
Stomach pain, vomiting, indigestion, gall bladder pain, hair loss, low energy, muscle loss, nausea, and others. Because people are desperate to loose weight there are things to do that can help improve your results and reduce the risk and side effects.

Happy independence day! I’m so grateful for this amazing country I get to live in and proud and grateful for the many men and women that have and do sacrifice that made it possible. Freedom isn’t free and isn’t available for everyone and not promised forever. The freedoms we now enjoy can change and will change if we don’t do our part now. One of the freedoms and privileges I deal with every day is freedom of health choices. I want people to not only have good health care but a choice to take care of their health the way they see fit and understanding really what health is and how the body and mind work. So much of what we grapple with today is self inflicted and preventable. I will be part of the solution to help people understand how to get well and stay well. What to avoid and what to do. Autism has been increasing dramatically since its description by Leo Kanner in 1943. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2018 has identified 1 in 59 children (1 in 37 boys and 1 in 151 girls) has autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Autistic spectrum disorders and ADHD are complex conditions in which nutritional and environmental factors play major roles. It is important to understand how food can have an impact on their current and future health. Appealing food colors stimulate the consumption of different food products. Since 2011, it is evident that dyes are linked to harmful effects in children. Artificial dyes have neurotoxic chemicals that aggravate mental health problems. Many families with autistic children avoid food dyes in their diet in order to avoid behavioral issues. A study reported that there is a correlation between yellow dye and sleep disturbance. Food colors Blue 1 and 2, Green 3, Red 3, Yellow 5 and 6, Citrus Red 2, and Red 40 can trigger many behaviors in most kids. Artificial food color usually contains petroleum and is manufactured in a chemical process that includes formaldehyde, aniline, hydroxides, and sulfuric acids. Most impurities in the food color are in the form of salts or acids. Sometimes lead, arsenic, and mercury may be present as impurities. The U.S. FDA is yet to study the effects of synthetic dyes on behavior in children. A study conducted at Southampton University in England found a link between food dyes and hyperactive behavior in children. The research does not prove that food coloring actually causes autism spectrum disorder, but there seems to be a link. Do you take probiotics? Did you know that different types of probiotics are in different areas of the intestinal tract? Here are some things to consider when choosing a probiotic:
1. Multiple strains
2. Prebiotic with it(food for the probiotic)
3. Is it from a whole food source?
4. What type of testing is done by the company to know if the probiotics are alive?
5. Is it heat stable?

These are a few things to consider. Also are you getting the results you are wanting from probiotic you are taking? A few good reasons to be on a high quality probiotic are:

Would you eat hydrochloric acid mixed with corn syrup? And do you think that would be healthy? Can anyone guess what that makes?
This mixture is how they make vitamin C = ascorbic acid which is 99% of everyone’s vitamin c supplements out there. Also if a food is fortified with its this form!
Big food has lobbied that companies need to put ascobric acid as vitamin C on labels. So your vitamin c product must say ascorbic acid (whole food).
A lot of companies have ascorbic acid and then add some bioflavonoids or fruit extract. Still not the same. This form of vitamin c does not help. Whole food companies extract ascorbic acid out of a whole food, then they combine the other 3 factors of whole vitamin c which is rutin, j/k factors and bioflavonoids! If you want vitamin C to work you need all these extras.

But Doc my emergen C gives me energy… you just took a big load of corn syrup.

Have you ever heard the phrase, "When I turned.....my metabolism slowed way down." Well one of the biggest challenges with age and metabolism is we loose muscle mass. As muscle mass decreases and body fat percentage goes up and muscle mass percentage(lean tissue) goes down. When this occurs metabolism slows. This is becaue muscles tissue burn the most calories. How do you maintain muscle mass or grow it as you age?

This is an image of the handwriting of my 9 year old nephew. He struggled in school with being able to focus and stay on task. At times he would have to stay in a recess to complete assignments. We had utilized therapies like neurofeedback and sensory training with minimal improvement.

I was introduced to brain activation utilizing natural herbs and botanicals put together and tested in how they activate cellular processes. This is what we saw in just a two week period of time. As he continued to use the products he progressed where he complete his class work on time and improved his grades. Even more exciting to me was how his confidence grew.

After seeing this I began using this with many others that had struggles and saw patterns of improvement. This is because many people that are struggling are doing so because the cellular process of cleanup, energy production, and efficiency are not working as they can. All of us have cellular process that are under performing. What if you could enhance and improve how they work individually and together?

f you are not familiar with brain mapping and looking at a functional image of the brain then here are a couple pictures of what it looks like. I’ve used this tool to help identify and work with individuals and families to normalize and optimize brain function.

As the brain learns it normally continues to learn and organize thoughts and patterns. When it does not people struggle with focus, attention, learning, overwhelm, frustration and many other symptoms.

What makes a Mother? I grew up in a home with a wonderful mother. She didn’t like Mother’s Day and I have observed over the years that for some Mother’s Day is very difficult. My heart goes out to those who want to be mothers and have not been able to. My heart aches for those who have lost children to young. I cry with those who have children that struggled or strained relationships. Above all I am so grateful for the many women that have and do influence me and my children. Many of these amazing nurturing women are not relatives or have any special tie to us. I am blessed by those that nurture and care for my children when they have been far from home and comforted them and celebrated them when I could not be with them. Moms are truly the glue that holds the family and community together. All you wonderful women out there I celebrate you and am truly thankful for all you pour into all of us! The things you do without ever getting back amazes me! , , ,

Parasites! Could you have them? How do you know? How could the affect you? I see this far more than people realize. One of the most common ones I see is when someone serves in the military or a mission. I’ve seen people years later still having problems. If this is you or someone you love then here are a few thoughts. 1. Remove infection 2. Repair organ, glands, and tissues that are involved, 3. Restore proper bowel environment, 4. Replace enzymes and other digestive needs, 5. Re inoculate proper bowel flora. This can take time and attention. Don’t just do these things for a week. So often we focus on the individuals that have the struggle/problem/diagnosis. And we should. Most of the families that I work with come in and look worn down and exhausted. They spend some much of their time and energy helping those they love.

Please be kind to them and kind to yourself if this is you.

One of the things I encourage the caregiver to do is take time for themselves. Take time to eat, rest, ask for help, take supplements, even if it’s for only 15 minutes a day.

You are amazing! Please take care of you any opportunity you have.
