Come to Costco with me!

The Santa Maria tri tip steak is my all time favorite, the veggies i made in the air fryer were a good change up And, I found a few new finds .. the fro yo cups (my kids like too!), the skinny pb cups and the veggies were new . I am happy that AZ Costco has G2G and built bars now but I wish they would bring the Good Culture cottage cheese to AZ!!!

The results speak for themselves and I am so proud of all these amazing ladies 💪!!!!

These results are TYPICAL and DOABLE for any woman who is motivated and committed to putting in the work with the Pojo Power Method.

Some of the clients were my macro coaching clients, some of these ladies have done my and some were from my online power method workouts .

Besides eating correctly for their bodies, doing the right workouts with a plan, they achieved results because of these 3 things:

1. Consistency: They were each consistent and did not quit when there was a slip up or when things got hard. Consistency is number 1 key to results!

2. Patience: They did not expect quick results. Instead, they understood that long term results takes time, it is about building new habits and a lifestyle change that is manageable and sustainable .. it is not a quick fix!

3. Accountability and Support: I was there to help them along the way, they had a community to cheer them on and motivate them to keep going and to believe in themselves!

Here are some of my favorite Trader Joe’s macro friendly snacks :

- Edmame ready to eat
- Everything but the bagel nuts
- Ready to eat hard boiled eggs
- Turkey & Ham with string cheese to make rollups
- Love all there greek yogurt dips! Buffalo Chicken, Everything but the bagel dips
- Thin mini crackers to go with the dips & I also like to grab some of their pre cut celery, baby tomatoes and snap peas for the dips too .

You can pair a few these snacks together to add more protein and they are all a quick grab and go!!

👉Save this for your next trip and I have about 6 TJ’s macro friendly treats to share .,, thinking that should be next because we gotta have a treat 😉

Hi!! I’m Liz and I am your #1 hype girl when it comes to macros, workouts and believing in YOU! What you see on the gram is 100% authentically me in real life- I am mom of 3 (twins!),I often get called the energizer bunny ( I have been told I have a lot of energy) and you will usually see me wearing something neon or bright with big hoops, eating too many subs in a tub each week, hanging out in the sunshine and usually in a messy top knot.

My goal is to create workouts you love and to teach you how to be a macro master.

My sophomore year of college I became a certified yoga instructor and fell in love with teaching. That was the catalyst to my career. I got my BS in Health Science, My AFAA Fit and a ton of specialized certifications. 20 years later I am still loving teaching and training as much as I did on day 1!

I have struggled with PCOS, done multiple IVF rounds, had Hirschsprung’s disease(which led me to getting my colon taken out) & had multiple surgeries. Through all of these challenges, I was able to come out stronger and healthier (mentally and physically) than ever before & now I work with women to help them overcome THEIR struggles.

This is why I created my POJO Power Method, this method is what helped me happiness with my body, has made me feel my best and how I have cultivated a healthy balance with workouts and food. .

10. Eat Direutic Type Foods : Eating foods like asparagus, lemon, celery, cucumbers, watermelon and berries have a water content to help flush out extra water faster and relieve the bloat.
11. Take a digestive enzyme before meals.
12. Stress less! This can be tricky and hard to do but stress can cause the "fight of flight " response which can ruin your gut health and mess with your digestion.

How does lack of sleep affect calorie consumption?

Sleep is like nutrition for your brain. In fact, getting adequate sleep is just important if not more important as nutrition and exercise. Most of us need 7-9 hours of sleep yet studies show that more than a third of Americans aren’t getting enough sleep on a regular basis.
When you are sleep deprived, it is so easy to just reach for the energy drink, skip out on your exercise, make poor food choices and have that lethargic foggy feeling. This is when you will start to just eat crap, drink too much caffeine or soda and not move your body! All things that are not good for us mentally or physically. Our bodies ups it’s production of gherlin (this is the hormone that stimulates appetite) when we don’t get enough sleep. Poor sleep also decreases the hormone leptin, which suppresses our appetite. The increase of gherlin and decrease of leptin when we are sleep deprived is not good and causes us to eat all the things and all the junk.

Moral of the post: Sleeping and actually getting quality sleep is KEY to a happier brain, better nutrition, better exercise habits and feeling your best . This has been something I have had to really work on but I can say that when I have better sleep habits I literally feel and am a different person than sleepy Liz.
Don’t let poor sleep sabotage your hard work! Make the effort to try to sleep better and longer , it will make such a huge difference ✌️.

If I can teach my girls two things it’s for them to have the confidence to be/try anything their heart desires and to always be kind to everyone no matter the situation. Confidence and Kindness goes along way in this life.

Our powercamps are women based and we love being surrounded each class with so much positivity, motivation and hard working women everyday that bring the energy and inspire us to be better daily!
When women support each other, that is when amazing things happen. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 Feeling extremely thankful and grateful today for so many things. Today was a great day filled with an awesome workout with my powercamp crew who I love so much , lots of playing outside , tons of family time, choas in the kitchen and arcade games and a movie …but we did not get a family picture except for this parking lot fat cats picture because we were having too much fun!
