Happy Physician Assistants Week! 🩺💙

This week, we’re proud to recognize UCHC’s two dedicated Physician Assistants!

📍 Greg Reinhart, PA-C has been a part of UCHC since 2019 served in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He currently provides care at our UCHC Old Vail Middle School Clinic in Vail and also leads our procedure clinic at our Continental Family Medical Center in Green Valley every other Wednesday, providing services such as cortisone injections, skin biopsies, wart treatments, toenail removals, and more.

📍 Austin Miller, PA-C provides care at our UCHC Freeport McMoRan location. Austin joined UCHC after earning his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Penn State College of Medicine and brings experience from both intensive care and urgent care settings.

Greg and Austin, thank you for the care you provide, the lives you impact, and the difference you make in the communities we serve. 💙

Our UCHC Freeport team showed up in all shades of pink today to stand together in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, prevention and early detection.

At UCHC, we’re also proud to help women in our communities access important preventive screenings through our Well Woman HealthCheck Program.

If you’re a woman ages 21–64 with limited or no health insurance, you may qualify for free or low-cost preventive screenings through UCHC’s Well Woman Health Check Program, including:

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎀

Early detection can make a difference. At UCHC, we want to make preventive care more accessible for the women in our communities.

Through our Well Woman HealthCheck Program, women ages 21–64 with limited or no health insurance may qualify for free or low-cost mammograms and Pap tests.

No insurance? Don’t let that keep you from getting the preventive care you need. Our team can help you find out if you qualify.

Our UCHC Dental Team visited our friends at Sopori Elementary School in Amado to teach students about the importance of good dental hygiene and building healthy habits that can last a lifetime! 💙🪥

Sopori is also one of our partnering schools visited by our Mobile Dental RV, helping bring dental care closer to home for children and families in our rural communities.

☀️ Is your baby ready for their first RSV season?

RSV season begins October 1, and babies born this spring or summer may be entering their first RSV season. RSV antibody protection is available for eligible babies and can help protect against severe RSV illness.

👶 Babies under 8 months entering their first RSV season may be eligible if:
• Mom did not receive the RSV vaccine during pregnancy
• Mom’s RSV vaccination status is unknown
• Baby was born within 14 days of mom receiving the RSV vaccine

Not sure if your baby is eligible? Ask us! 💙Talk with your UCHC Pediatric Care Team to learn more about RSV protection for your baby.
