💥🦸🏾‍♀️ Who is one of your BIGGEST heroes?

👣This week try stepping into their shoes (not literally, but metaphorically)!

Todd Herman coined this the “alter ego effect” - and it sounds strange, but doing this exercise can help you recognize and overcome the limiting beliefs standing between you and your goals.

👉 When you’re experiencing doubt, fear, negative thoughts, or any emotions that aren’t helping you to move forward with your goals…

Take a second to think about your hero. What would THEY think, believe, and DO in that same situation?

It really doesn’t matter who your role model or hero is – it can even be a fictional character!

🎯The point is that you want to embody characteristics and belief systems that will help you crush your goals …. and not be held back by your own mind which tries to keep you safe inside the walls of your comfort zones.

10 DAY QUARENTINE CHALLENGE!
DETAILS:

1. Every day there will be a "WOD" Workout of the Day. Each workout will be focused on one of these - upper body, lower body, booty popping, core crushing or full body blast.
**No equipment will be required, but if you have any weights or bands please let me know! You will need a chair or couch to help with some exercises so try and watch the live workout near those things 😂

2. I will provide modifications for each workout. Please work at your own pace and according to your physical ability. Make sure you have talked with your doctor before starting anything new.

3. If you want to strengthen one or two areas in particular, at the end of 10 days pick the best exercises that focus on those places and incorporate them into your existing workout routine. Just remember to continue challenging your body by gradually increasing the weight or number of reps as you get stronger—these will only prove to be the best exercises if you're working hard enough!

4. Let's get on a schedule! I will do my best to go Live with the Workout of the Day (movements and modifications) every day between 9am and 10am. Make sure you turn notifications ON in this group so you will be notified when I go Live!

5. Keep a journal! Write down the workout of the day, and challenge for the day, along with your results for that day. This will help you to stay on track and also keep progress of your reps and times, etc.

6. Lets have fun, support one another and share our progress! Make sure to post questions and ask for help! You might think it's not an important question but I bet another lady in the group has the same question! Also, please share recipes and motivation/inspiration quotes/posts. Lord KNOWS we all NEED the positivity!!!!!

I want to share a piece that I wrote on the theme of the retribution principle, God punishes the wicked and blesses the righteous, from my Biblical Studies course. In reality, this principle do that always apply and we need to be reminded of the end intent. In this world, wicked people do not always receive a reprimand while the righteous may go through immense suffering. While there are many verses throughout the Bible that exemplifies wickedness prospering, such as in, Daniel 11:36, Psalm 73:3, and Jeremiah 12:1, Proverbs also highlights this topic. In Proverbs 23:17 it states, “Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord.” Another example is Proverbs 24:11, “Do not envy the wicked, do not desire their company.” This idea of jealously of the wicked due to their outward prosperity is repeated in Proverbs 24:19, “Do not fret because of evildoers or be envious of the wicked.” In real world conditions, those who commit evil are likely to rob the livelihood and good health from the righteous. Wickedness very often does experience a downfall due to their ways however, it does not always occur immediately or within their lifetime meanwhile, many succumb to their evil doings. It is true that the modern world is very complex and while systems are put into place to limit wickedness, there is corruption in this world that limits justice. But we must be like Job and keep our faith in God because we are ignorant in the eyes of Him and we do not know his final plan. God notices His righteous and they will ultimately be blessed. “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast” (1 Peter 5:10 ). Just thought I would share!
First time making Black Bean Soup as a meal prep item 😍 it’s a vegan recipe but I added turkey bacon 🙊 there’s carrots, celery & onion in the soup too! Garnished with avacado & dipping with veggie flaxseed corn tortilla chips. Very delicious! Even my littles approve 👍
