Do you need a mammogram, an ultrasound or both?

It’s a common question, but the tests have different roles. Mammography is the primary imaging test for routine breast cancer screening and can detect changes before they can be felt or cause symptoms. Ultrasound can provide additional information when recommended by your healthcare provider, but it shouldn’t replace your mammogram.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get the facts and make your health a priority.

If you are due for a mammogram, schedule it, or find a walk in location near you.
