Hi! My name is Lisa, and I have been a Mammographer for over 30 years! I have been part of the Physicians East team for a little over 2 years.

With more than three decades of experience in mammography, I’m proud to play a part in helping women prioritize their breast health through screening and early detection. 🩷

Outside of work, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my grandbaby and my family. Family time is always the best time!

Meet Demi!

Hi, everyone! My name is Demi, and I’ve been a mammographer for 6 years-here at Physicians East!💙

When I’m not at work, you can usually find me in the garden, on the beach or spending time with my husband and our three girls! 🎀🌸

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping women prioritize their breast health and playing a role in the early detection of breast cancer. Did you know, finding cancer early often means more treatment options, less extensive treatment, and better outcomes?

I know that getting a mammogram can sometimes feel inconvenient or uncomfortable, so I love being able to make this experience as comfortable and assuring for my patients as possible. The exam itself is brief, and just a few moments of discomfort are an important investment in your long-term health. If you have questions or concerns, please share them with your mammographer—we are here to support you every step of the way. 🩷

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I want to remind everyone that early detection matters, consistent routine screenings are important, and that “self care” includes your annual mammogram.💖

💗 Meet Caroline!

Hi, I’m Caroline, a Mammography Technologist at Physicians East Farmville, where I’ve been part of the team for the past 14 years!

I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in X-ray, and mammography was always the goal. Mammography is especially personal to me because my maternal grandmother passed away from breast cancer in her 50s. Her story has always stayed with me and is a big part of why I’m so passionate about encouraging women to prioritize their mammograms and take care of their breast health. If I can help educate someone, ease a little anxiety, or encourage someone to get that screening they’ve been putting off, then I feel like I’m making a difference.

Outside of work, I’m a proud wife to my husband, Michael, and mom to Maddie. I love the beach, Disney, spending time with family and friends, and watching my daughter compete with her dance and tumble teams. I can usually be found with a Diet Coke in hand!

Meet Tori!

Hi! I’m Tori, Lead Mammographer at Physicians East. It’s a job that means so much to me, not only because of the care we provide, but because of the lives we may help protect through early detection.

Breast cancer is very personal to me. I know many people who have been diagnosed, including someone very close to my heart who received their diagnosis in 2022, and I am happy to say she is doing great today. ❤️ Experiences like these are a powerful reminder that breast cancer affects real people, real families, and people we love. They reinforce why I believe so strongly in the importance of routine mammograms and early detection.

As a mammographer, I know that a mammogram can bring anxiety or fear for some women. I try to make the experience as comfortable as possible, and I love using my sense of humor to help my patients relax and laugh along the way! 😁

When I’m not at work, I enjoy painting and being outside. And the thing that makes me the happiest is when all my family can gather together.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I encourage every woman to prioritize her breast health and stay up to date with recommended screenings. 🎀
