🍂 A Little Cold & Flu Season Reminder from RMS 🍂
October is here, which means cozy season is officially beginning… but unfortunately, so is cold & flu season. 🤧
At Restorative Massage Spa, I want my space to remain a safe, relaxing place for everyone who comes through my door. With that in mind, here are a few gentle reminders regarding illness and your massage appointment:
🤒 If you’re feeling under the weather, including coughing, fever, body aches, runny nose, sore throat, stomach symptoms, or other signs of illness, please reach out to me as soon as possible—preferably at least 48 hours before your appointment—so we can decide whether your session needs to be rescheduled.
🫶🏼 Please don’t try to “tough it out” and come in sick. Massage is meant to help you rest and restore, and sometimes the best thing you can give your body is time to recover at home.
🤧 Please be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you arrive visibly ill, your session may need to be canceled and applicable cancellation fees may apply according to RMS practice policies.
💉 Recently had a vaccination? Please let me know if you’ve received one within the last few weeks, especially if you’re experiencing side effects or not feeling like yourself. We can decide together whether keeping or rescheduling your massage is the best choice for your comfort.
🖐🏼 Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease: If you know you’ve recently been exposed or you develop symptoms, please contact me before your appointment. Because it can spread easily, we may need to reschedule your session.
I know rescheduling isn’t always convenient, but protecting the health of my clients, myself, and everyone who shares this space is incredibly important to me. 🤍
Thank you for respecting RMS policies and helping me keep Restorative Massage Spa a place where everyone can rest, relax & restore mind, body and soul. 🌿
As always, if you’re unsure whether you should keep your appointment, just reach out. I’m always happy to talk it through with you. 🫶🏼
