Loving Kindness Meditation
Kindness, compassion and love is what this meditation is about.
Loving Kindness Meditation is about connecting to the love we should feel for ourselves, and using that self-love to send love and compassion to all people, animals and planet earth.
Practicing love and kindness on ourselves gives us positive focus, feel good emotions and relieves stress and anxiety. Sending that same love and kindness to others, not only helps to take you out of self-centeredness, but then you become a beacon where the Light of All Lights shines through you to others spreading positivity and joy.

Yamas and Niyamas Challenge Starting Monday, April 4th!
The Yamas and Niyamas are yogic principles/guidelines on how to treat others and how to treat yourself. These principles are the very first steps to finding peace and harmony with yourself, while also learning how to overcome the hardships and challenges of life.
Starting on Monday, each week we will highlight a Yama/Niyama. Each day will be an opportunity for you to practice each guideline and post about your accomplishment in the group.
This is an exercise in learning how to live life thoughtfully and purposefully. With practice, we learn to manage stress and anxiety, instead of letting outside influences and our own unchecked emotions and behaviors keep us from happiness and contentment.
*Journaling for these 10 weeks is highly recommended*
