This intergenerational playgroup creates a space for children and seniors to laugh, create, and build meaningful friendships together.

Join us for a morning filled with care, conversation, and community.🩷

⏰ When: Monday, October 5th | 9-11:30AM
📍 Where: Turkey & the Toad, Pewaukee Library

📝Moms can either grab a coffee from Turkey and the Toad and meet at the library or you can join us for a short walk! **If you want to skip coffee, the program starts at 9:30AM at the library.**

Backstory:
Dr. Lenard Markman, DO, will present the “Do It for Dillon” Epinephrine Training Program, approved by the Wisconsin Department of Health. Participants will be approved to access Epinephrine from a pharmacy and administrator it to anyone in need before help can arrive. 

In 2014, A family from Mishicot, Wisconsin, lost their eighteen-year-old son, due to an undiagnosed bee venom allergy. Dillon was helping a friend with yard work when he was stung. Within minutes he asked his friend to call 911 and then became unconscious. First volunteer responders did not have epinephrine, the life-saving medication he desperately needed. After a week on artificial cardiopulmonary support the hard decision to let Dillon go was made. That day, Dillon improved the lives of others through organ, eye, and tissue donation. His parents, Angel and George Mueller, decided they would do everything they could to prevent this from happening to another family. This led to a team working to create Dillon’s Law, allowing trained individuals to carry and administer epinephrine auto-injectors.

LCMM is so excited for another month of connection and community!🩷

🎃October is looking a little different still! While we have some fun events planned on the calendar, we’ll also be sharing pop-up walks, play dates with coffee meetups throughout the month! 👟🧸☕️

📚As some of you know, I’m back in school, and it’s my LAST semester… WOOT WOOT!🎉 Because of that, things will be slowed down a little bit until spring (would be sooner but winter lol). However, LCMM is still here to help moms connect and build community!👏🏻

📝Details for each event will be shared soon, so stay tuned! As for the pop ups, please lookout for them as they will be random!

⚠️ Registration is required for the events listed on the calendar! Pop-up walks and meetups will not require registration. (No event on Halloween, the pumpkin is just for fun!)

🆓 All events are FREE this month!

☁️Events may be rescheduled or canceled due to weather!
