It’s Mother’s Day weekend. It’s OK to take care of yourself first. Remember as mothers, caregivers And breadwinners we need to fill our cupboard/heart up first so that we will have enough to share with those when we love most. It is never selfish but only selfless to recharge ourselves first.

How you handle your anxiety and stress can be the solution to your health and wellbeing.
I am so excited to share that I am going to offer a FREE Workshop for you to join and find out HOW to create good habits to bring your stress and anxiety levels down!
The mental strain or anxiety and stress you feel when you are working hard to balance work, family and social life is the trigger for your brain to change. Did you know that there is a way to move from brain fog to mental clarity to reduce these feelings?
The brain can change because of its neuroplasticity.
Neuroplasticity is the brain's capacity to change in response to an experience.
It happens in two steps:
#First - When you are under stress, in terms of brain activity, you have focus, you are planning, you have your attention on your work, family and social responsibilities. The more you feel “discomfort,” the more importance your brain will give in terms of recognizing that that activity is important.
#Second – Deep relaxation can be in the form of a Movement Meditation, just sitting and breathing feeling your belly rising and falling on the inhales and exhales, a visual guided meditation or even just deep sleep.
This is when new neurons are born in your brain to change its circuits. This is also when the synapses get stronger and the connections that you do not want, i.e., stress and anxiety.
So... if you want to be able to handle the stress of your life practice and reprogram your subconscious mind to success, look after your brain and look for my FREE upcoming workshop on Movement Meditation Practice! What feels good to your body? What helps you recoup after a long day? What helps energize you in the morning? I would much rather you feel these things than to feel “flexible”. So think about it and tell me - what helps you feel energized in the morning?
