Faith and science can both invite us to approach the human body with humility, curiosity, and wonder. We can keep learning while honoring the God who created us.

Your brain and body work together to interpret the world. Predictive processing offers one way to understand that relationship without dismissing the reality of what you feel.

'Your body isn’t something you have to fight. Learning to notice its signals with curiosity can create space for a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Listening doesn't mean dismissing symptoms; it means approaching your experience with care.

✨ Familiarity can feel comforting because our brains learn what to expect through experience.

From our daily routines to our relationships and the way we see ourselves, familiarity helps shape how we experience the world.

As we grow, we can become curious about what feels supportive, what helps us flourish, and what new possibilities we’re ready to explore.

Self-awareness gives us an opportunity to understand our patterns and make intentional choices about the experiences we want to cultivate.

Here’s something to reflect on: What if familiar isn’t always the same thing as safe—or healthy?

At COSMOS SOMATICS, we’re exploring the connections between the brain, body, and the way we experience life. 🌌

Have you ever reacted to what you thought happened rather than what actually happened? 🧠

An interaction happens, and then our brains start interpreting it. A different tone, a delayed response, a change in someone’s behavior—and suddenly, we’re building a story around it.

But what we observe and what we assume aren’t always the same thing.

This doesn’t mean your interpretation is wrong. It means there’s value in pausing long enough to recognize the difference.

At COSMOS SOMATICS, we’re exploring how the brain, body, and our lived experiences shape the way we experience the world.

What happens in the space between the event and your experience of it?

🌌 A little personal update!

I just joined an astronomy club, and I’m excited to learn more about the universe, ask questions, and explore the connections between science, the stars, and the human experience.

At COSMOS SOMATICS, I’m not just here to share what I learn. I’m here to keep learning, too. I want this journey to be one of curiosity, discovery, and a deeper appreciation for the incredible world God created. ✨

I’m looking forward to seeing what I discover and how it might connect with what we explore together here at COSMOS SOMATICS.

Here’s to staying curious, continuing to learn, and growing together! 🌠

A thought begins invisibly, but it can lead to real physical action. Your brain, nervous system, and muscles work together to turn intention into movement.

But thinking about doing something and being physically able to do it aren’t always the same. Fatigue, stress, and the body’s current state can all influence what happens next.

Before we label someone lazy, let’s get curious about the science behind what the body is experiencing.

COSMOS SOMATICS — Bridging Faith, Science, and the Stars.

Two people can experience the same moment and walk away with completely different feelings. Why? Your brain uses past experiences, expectations, and attention to interpret what happens around you.

Understanding this process can help you become more curious about your experiences and how you make sense of the world.

At COSMOS SOMATICS, we explore the fascinating connection between the brain, the body, perception, and the way we experience life.

What happens between what you experience and what your brain makes of it?

What keeps you centered?

Look at an orbit. A planet moves through space, constantly in motion, while remaining connected to the force that guides its path..

Your nervous system has rhythms, too—your breath, attention, heartbeat, and connection with the world around you.

Your body is constantly responding, adapting, and finding balance.

Faith. Science. The stars.

10/13/2026

What if regulation could feel more like cooperation than effort?

Gravity gives your body something to work with—and your nervous system is constantly responding to the information around you.

When you slow down enough to notice, your body may already be showing you what support feels like.

Faith. Science. The stars.
