"Taking the COVID-19 vaccine is like so much of what we do that may be uncomfortable or inconvenient, but it benefits others and ourselves in the long run. It is what will help us reduce the risks COVID poses. We get vaccines not because we want to but because we must. It is what living as a part of community looks like. As physicians we strive to encourage and promote health while preventing disease. Vaccines are among the best efforts of modern medicine with great benefits to ourselves and others."
