Ever wondered how to track those weekend drinks without derailing your diet? 🍷🍸
Alcohol isn’t a traditional macro, but it’s often called the ‘4th macro’ because it provides calories—7 per gram! Whether you’re enjoying wine, beer, or spirits, here’s a simple way to include it in your fitness plan:
🔹 As Carbs: Divide the total calories by 4 to calculate grams of carbs.
🔹 As Fats: Divide the total calories by 9 for grams of fat.
🔹 As Both: For a balanced approach, log half the calories as carbs and the other half as fats.
For example, a glass of your favorite wine might be about 120 calories. Logged as carbs, that’s 30g (120/4), as fats, about 13g (120/9), or split it for both, counting 15g carbs and about 7g fat. 📊
Remember, balance is key! As a midlife working momma we need balance and fun! Enjoy responsibly while keeping your health goals on track. Just know your progress is quicker without it!
You can find balance and feel awesome with just a few tweaks!
