An Important Update from Occupational Therapy In Motion
Since 2011, OT in Motion has been honored to serve Long Island families from combining exceptional therapy services with the unique benefits of nature, animals, and equine movement. Over the years, we have celebrated milestones, overcome challenges, and witnessed incredible growth. Most importantly, we have built meaningful relationship with the individuals and families who make our community so special.
Today, we are sharing some difficult news. After more than 15 years of partnership with Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, we were informed that our lease will not be renewed for 2027 due to financial considerations.
We are deeply saddened by this news, especially knowing how meaningful the relationships with the horses, animals, therapists, and team members have been to so many of our clients and their families. We recognize how much this community means to everyone involved, and we are committed to navigating this transition with care, compassion, and determination.
Occupational Therapy In Motion remains dedicated to providing the specialized, relationship-based care that has made our program so meaningful for so many years. We are actively seeking new partnerships with barns and equestrian facilities across Long Island that share our vision and would be interested in helping us continue this important work.
If you are a Long Island barn owner, equestrian facility, or member of the equine community, who may be interested in partnering with us, we would love to connect with you. We welcome, introductions, recommendations, and the opportunity to explore new possibilities together.
To our families, supporters, and the Long Island community: thank you for your continued trust, loyalty, and encouragement. Please continue attending your scheduled sessions, share our story, and help us spread the word as we work toward the next chapter of OT In Motion.
We will share updates regarding transition dates and our future locations as more information becomes available.
