Spotlighting another small business! Let me introduce you to my very best friend’s mobile boutique— The 504 Trolley. She has such a great variety of items including infants clothing all the way to home decor and squishes! She’ll be at the Alligator Festival in Luling this weekend. It’s supposed to be great weather so come on out!!!!! I’ll be at the trolley Saturday afternoon and into the evening so if you make your way to the festival be sure to come say hi and checkout all the great items the trolley has to offer! So much of the success of my small business has been due to the love and support given to me through word of mouth. I can’t be more appreciative of that support and I’d love to pay it forward to another small business! I’d love to introduce everyone to check out Toddler Town Imagination Station. This is the brain child of one of my dear childhood friends. It’s an indoor play center that focuses on creativity and imagination! They’re pouring in a lot of blood sweat and tears to get the place ready to welcome your little ones! Head on over to their page to check them out. Don’t forget to give them a like and follow!

One big concern many mothers have regarding breastfeeding is the worry of lack of sleep. This article includes great tips and advice on protecting both sleep and breastfeeding!

Can I breastfeed AND sleep? So many parents feel like they have to choose. In honor of National Breastfeeding Month, Natasha Mom M.D., MPH, FAAP, FABM, PMH-C is tackling this exact question in her new PSI Blog post, and breaking down why it's not breastfeeding that harms mental health. It's the gap between what we expect and what actually happens, especially when that gap is filled with exhaustion and no support.

The goal isn't picking one over the other. It's building a plan that protects both 💙

I’ve just recently learned about the Lindsay Clancy case and I have a lot to say but I’ll keep this post as short as possible. Bottom line is that perinatal mental health is understudied, underrated and overlooked far too often. I’ve seen the effects firsthand as a healthcare provider, mother, and friend.
I will always advocate for the entire woman- mind, body, and soul!
I’m sharing resources in hopes that this helps at least one person. Don’t stop advocating for yourself. You are not a monster! You have nothing to be ashamed of! Help is out there. Spouses, partners, family and friends— TAKE THE PERSON SERIOUSLY! They may look ok on the outside but so do many people with other medical conditions as well. Just because someone looks fine doesn’t mean they are. LISTEN to them, BELIEVE them, and HELP them!

📏SIZE MATTERS…

…but that’s only one piece of the puzzle!

A common misconception is that measuring your ni**le automatically tells you exactly what fl**ge size you need. While measurements provide a helpful starting point, they don’t tell the whole story.

Parents were often told to measure their ni**le and add a few millimeters to determine fl**ge size. That guidance was based on the limited fl**ge options available.

Today, we know that fl**ge fitting is much more individualized.

Think of fl**ges like shoes—you can know your size, but comfort and fit still depend on the shape, style, and how they work with your body.

Many factors can affect fl**ge fit, including:
✨ Ni**le elasticity
✨ Breast anatomy
✨ Swelling during pumping
✨ Fl**ge shape and material
✨ The breast pump being used

Even two fl**ges with the same diameter can feel and perform very differently.

The goal isn’t simply finding a fl**ge with the “correct” measurement.

The goal is comfort and effective milk removal.

Your ni**le measurement helps guide the diameter of the fl**ge tunnel, while your breast size and shape help determine which fl**ge style may work best for you. With so many fl**ge options available today, finding the right fit often requires looking beyond the number alone.

If pumping is uncomfortable, your ni**les swell significantly, or milk output seems lower than expected, it may be worth reassessing not only your fl**ge size but also the fl**ge shape and style.

Need help finding the right fit? A personalized fl**ge assessment can make a big difference in comfort and pumping efficiency.
