😎This is Patsy is our lead Pharmacy Technician, she has been compounding & rockin and rollin in the lab for over 30 years. Lipoderm is one of our favorite bases here at Heartland Apothecary. 100% spore based probiotic- in other words it is soil based. 🪴
It is more tolerable for most, & the strains are more likely to survive in stomach acid.

In other words the probiotic is able to do its job & it is less likely to give you problems like other probiotics can.

Different size capsules. 😍You may not have thought about it but there are different size capsules.

💊 Have problems swallowing your supplements or medications?

Here is a tip😃how to swallow capsules easier: Tilt your head slightly forward and swallow the capsule (with water) it will float to the back and be easier to swallow.

If it is a tablet (they don’t float like capsules do) those are best to tilt the head back and swallow (with water as well of course).

Over 11 years ago the name was thought about...The story was told like this:

We live in beautiful East Tennessee with the mountains surrounding us in all the beautiful Tennessee glory. Some know the area as.....The Heartland🥰

“Heartland” isn’t just an area to us. It goes beyond that, the ❤️ “Heart” in heartland comes from the heart. We genuinely care about our patients and helping others. We understand your problems and pain.❤️We are whole heartedly invested in improving our patients quality of life through compounding. We care... from the heart! ❤️

Now the “apothecary” is a bit more plain-n -simple: we found it to fit the brand better than just “compounding pharmacy.” We like that old school feel. 😎But as you can see by this photo we have an updated feel to our lobby.
