50 Years of Projects

Project 39 of 50:
City of Knoxville Policy Department requested assistance from the ETCDC and volunteer adviser Carrie Read, Landscape Designer with Carol R. Johnson and Associates, to prepare a plan for a new dog park in downtown Knoxville. The PetSafe Downtown Dog Park was the second of five parks to be built with funding from PetSafe Village. The dog park is located at the corner of Summit Hill Drive and S. Central Street. The approximately one acre park opened to the public in June 2010.

I love that this week is PLANT WEEK! I could not resist posting this article - it is from a site about home design (DIY). Having plant friends indoors is what I truly love and keeps me connected with nature when I have to be inside!

The article is a 5-day guide to creating space and caring for our house plants. Yesterday, I began transplanting cuttings to some new pots, caring for my orchids, and situating plants in new locations that seem better suited for them. Enjoy!
