Intuitive and holistic healing services. This center is the result of proprietor, Sara Griscom’s, vision and experiences in the world.

Twenty later, Gypsy Hands, now a Green Business, is home to energy medicine, alternative and holistic healing, as well as Maori deep-tissue healing. The center provides Intuitive Readings, Deep Tissue Maori Bodywork, Reiki Therapy, Reiki Training & Energy Medicine Certification. Workshops for various topics in healing and dance are often hosted here. Gypsy Hands is extremely appreciative of our community, whose support continues to nurture our expansion!

Morris Brady: Photographs 2024
First Friday: October 4, 2024
3 p.m.–9 p.m.

Knoxville-based photographer Morris Brady’s photographs deliver on Henri Cartier-Bresson’s concept of the “decisive moment” by capturing layered stories through expert framing and precise composition. Spend time with Brady’s single exposure stripped-down black-and-white photos and notice the shaded contrasts, the angles and lines—and the exceptional beauty and subtle details Brady finds all around us—if only we would look and pay attention!

Brady studied with legendary University of Tennessee professor of photography Baldwin Lee and focused on abstract photography. Brady later shot more commercial photography—but today Brady has doubled back and rediscovered the beauty of subtle yet sophisticated single-frame fine art photography.

“The photographs in this series are an exercise in intuition, in being in the moment,” says Brady. “I hope viewers feel the work and have a viscerally emotional reaction.”

Brady lives in in Knoxville with his fiancé, Alisha Wilson, and two doodles, Walter and Wilma.
