Happy New Year CMAC family!
We will have limited hours this week due to the holidays!
Thursday, December 31st we will be open 8-12 by appointment only. We will be closing after our last patient.
Friday, January 1st and Saturday, January 2nd we will be closed in honor of the new year.
We will return to our normal schedule Monday, January 4th from 8 am - 4 pm!
We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to working with your pets in the new year! We hope everyone has a safe and healthy weekend!

We just wanted to send out our holiday hours for this week!
Monday (12/21) - Wednesday (12/23) we will be at the clinic from 8AM - 4pm
Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) we will be open by appointment only until mid-morning. We will close after our last appointment.
We will be CLOSED on Christmas Day and the Saturday after Christmas.
We will return to our normal work schedule on Monday, December 28 from 8am - 4pm

Clinic Status Update from Dr Rodgers:
We will be limited to 8:00 am til 11:??am the rest of this week.

I am cleared from from my isolation and feel much better and have been in the office a little while today. It is great to see the light at the end of this dark tunnel we have been in.
We are planning to be back to normal next week starting Monday!!!

We’d like to take this time to wish our very own, Dr. Rodgers, a very Happy Boss’s Day! We want to thank him for all the hard work and effort he puts into the clinic! It truly is a blessing to have such a humble, Christian oriented, family loving man as our boss! We hope you have a day full of relaxation!

Dr Bowles will be available at the clinic from 8-12 Wednesday & Friday this week for sick & emergency patients, prescription refills and scheduling appointments. Please make plans to call or pick up the meds you will need during these times.
If your pet needs to be seen when our office is not open, please call 270-443-8835 to be directed to either Paducah Veterinary Clinic or Flanary Vet Clinic in Paducah. They have graciously agreed to see our patients while we cannot.
Thank you for your understanding, kindness and prayers during this time! We can’t wait to get back to the clinic seeing the clients and patients we love.

COVID UPDATE from Dr Rodgers. I got sick on Friday October 9 with fever and coughing. It is Covid. One other staff member is also positive. All other support staff are required to quarantine for 14 days.
Dr Terra Bowles was not exposed to me so she alone is allowed to work.
She can’t do much by herself but she will do what she can.
If all goes well we can return to normal procedures the week of October 26. Once we are back, we will continue to do curbside until the pandemic is over.
I still have fever today but I am doing okay.
Thank you for your business and we look forward to being back to full service.

We are currently extremely restricted in our ability to help our clients and patients due to a key member of our team becoming sick with COVID-19. Most of our team members are currently quarantining due to potential exposure and all appropriate measures will be taken prior to returning to our normal schedule. Upon our return we will be working to reschedule all cancelled/missed appointments.
If you were at the clinic from October 6th-9th, our local health department advises that you self monitor for symptoms even though we have taken many precautions to protect you.
Our unexposed staff member will be answering some calls, filling prescriptions, seeing sick patients, and scheduling very limited appointments.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this very difficult couple of weeks.
We will post more updates as we have them.
Our sick team member is currently doing well while isolated at home and is expected to make a full recovery.

Meet Peaches! She was saved from the ditch on Hwy 60 after likely catching a ride under someone’s hood. She had some injuries and eye issues that have been treated and resolved so now she is free to a good and forever home! 6 weeks old, had first kitten shot, deworming & flea treatment. Her purr box works great and she loves to play. She would make a great inside or outside kitty! Call the clinic if interested! 270-665-9146
Watch these dogs eat!! We have people tell us their dogs won’t eat dog food or that their dogs don’t like their food and that they have had to switch food. These dogs are very happy eating their dry dog food (Science Diet) and they have been eating the same food all of their adult lives. They are not over fed and they have a regular mealtime. If they do not eat all their food when it is offered it is put up until the next feeding time.

Did there happen to be a blue and white male pitbull brought in today that was a stray? It was in Wickliffe all day at the DG and pretty sure it's been a stray for a while. Went back to get it a few hours later and he was gone.
Does anyone know who these dogs belong to? The male is the short haired and he is seems to be maintained but is not fixed and the female is in bad condition (she is definitely malnourished) and not fixed. Both are friendly and have collars on but no tags and were very hungry. Found close to Ballard county line on 60.

There is a pitbull that has shown up at my house. I live close to the corner of Phelps & Countyline Rd.
Apparently, it likes to ride in vehicles. It jumped in the car, on top of my 71 yr. old Dad, as he was trying to get out.
My dog is restricted to one area, but the dog did bite my dog on the snout as it got close.
It seems people friendly.
It's trying to come inside.
My son said he first noticed it here at noon today.
