It’s Scorpio season! Time to celebrate another favorite person 🖤 This Scorpio can be easily misunderstood; she has a tough exterior, but once you earn her trust, she is the warmest, most loving companion. She listens deeply and never shies away from the truth or beats around the bush, so you can always count on her for no-nonsense, thoughtful advice. She is one of those rare gems who shows up for anyone in need, no matter what she is juggling privately. After enduring some of life’s most painful experiences, she remains profoundly strong and compassionate. Endlessly ambitious and dedicated, she never gives up, no matter how life tries to derail her.

I don’t know about you, but I love to channel some of this energy! So, I carry the Scorpio Energy Charm Jar when I’m navigating change or particularly difficult challenges. This week's cards feel extra powerful. It is human nature to face challenges, and sometimes we get caught in repetitive themes. For example, I chose card 1 this week, and the theme of isolation has been prevalent throughout my life and still surfaces at times. When I was young, I was forcibly alone, which taught me that I don’t need anyone and can overcome any obstacle without help. Unfortunately, that manifested in me pushing people away when I’m struggling as an adult. Sometimes I feel like I can’t or shouldn’t talk to anyone, or that no one can help me, even if they want to.

Tomorrow is a national holiday that deserves more attention and celebration: Freethought/Freethinkers Day. In all of my lifetimes, and there have been many, I was severely (if not completely) stifled. According to my Reiki master, this lifetime is the first one in which I will be able to fully express who I am and what my beliefs, values, and practices are, without having to live in fear, go into hiding, and/or risk my life and the lives of my loved ones. I have been hunted, imprisoned, tortured, hanged, beheaded, shot… You name it, my soul has likely experienced it. But in this life, I have entered a new timeline.

In this timeline, being a witch is simply being someone comfortable in their personal power. People can now recognize that my thoughts, intentions, words, and actions are pure and come only from love. They know I lift myself and others, empowering them to live fully as their unique selves by reminding them that their “weird” makes the world better, happier, and healthier. Finally, I can be completely myself and lead by example; I can walk alongside fellow self-improvers, deprogrammers, truth-tellers, and thought provokers. My work inspires and changes lives, and I am blessed to be a product of that work.

That said, I invite you to celebrate with me. Breathe in deeply with your eyes closed. Open your eyes, choose the card they are drawn to, and return tomorrow to learn ideas for embracing and celebrating your unique magic.
