A huge thank you to our community for reaching out to legislators! Your voices help protect affordable healthcare for our neighbors.
As an FQHC, the federal 340B program is a lifeline for us. It requires drug manufacturers to provide medications at a discount, allowing us to stretch our resources without using taxpayer dollars. Because of 340B, we can offer deeply discounted prescriptions and expand vital services for patients, regardless of their insurance or ability to pay.
Thank you for standing with us to keep care accessible for everyone!

Recognizing a champion for Indiana’s Community Health Centers!

Today, IPHCA presented Governor Mike Braun with the inaugural Governor Mike Braun Community Health Center Champion Award. Created in his honor, the award recognizes extraordinary support for health centers and the Hoosiers who depend on them.

His administration’s decision to exempt health centers from proposed Medicaid 340B changes helped protect resources for affordable medications, behavioral health care, and other essential services.

Thank you, Governor Braun, for listening to health center leaders and supporting access to affordable care in Indiana’s rural and urban communities.

October is SIDS Awareness Month. Riggs Community Health Center is raising awareness about safe sleep practices that can help reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other sleep-related infant deaths. Remember the ABCs of safe sleep: babies should sleep Alone, on their Back, and in a Crib with a firm, flat mattress and fitted sheet. Keep blankets, pillows, stuffed toys, and bumper pads out of the sleep area. Share these reminders with every parent, grandparent, and caregiver—safe sleep matters for every baby.
