Who says the life you built has to be the life you keep choosing?

I spent 25 years in high-tech sales. I loved parts of that life, and I learned so much from it. But eventually, I realized the things I had worked so hard for weren't the things I wanted anymore.

Slowing down gave me room to hear what I'd been feeling for years.

That's part of why I created The Ever Good. I believe we can begin again at any point in our lives, with everything we've learned coming along with us.

Maybe there's something you've been wanting to do differently, too.

If you could begin one part of your life again, what would it be? I'd love to hear your answer in the comments. 🤍

There comes a point when the life you worked so hard to build starts asking a different question:
What do I actually want now?

Slowing down gave me enough room to hear my answer. Not all at once. Not perfectly. Just clearly enough to start choosing differently.

That is the heart of The Ever Good.

Creating room to hear your own voice, remember what matters to you, and build a life that feels like yours.

If you’ve been asking yourself that same question lately, you found the right place.

The Fall Planting wait list is open. Begin mentorship with me this fall, in a group or one on one. Link in bio.

A slow morning does not need an hour. It needs 10 honest minutes.

1. Get outside light first.
2. Drink your water first.
3. Coffee with no screen.
4. Write one honest line.
5. Choose the one thing.

Save this for tomorrow morning. Which one will you try first? Tell me in the comments.

If you want a rhythm that actually sticks, this is the work I do one on one in mentorship. Work With Me, link in bio.

This fall I am growing flowers from seed. 🤍

I could have bought them already blooming at the nursery (believe me, I thought about it). Instead I chose the slow way: a packet of seeds, a little soil and a lot of waiting.

Here is what I keep thinking about. For weeks nothing about a seed looks like progress, and it is growing the whole time.

If you have been telling yourself it is too late to start something, it is not. You are right on time to plant.

What would you plant right now if you knew it would grow? Tell me in the comments.

Someday is not a date. It is a decision. 🤍

Most of us carry a someday list (I have had a long one, believe me). The trip, the class, the business, the slower life. And someday keeps sliding, one busy season at a time.

So here are 4 questions to find yours:
1. What would you start if no one thought it was strange?
2. What exactly are you waiting for?
3. What is waiting already costing you?
4. What is the smallest step you could take by Friday?

Save this, answer just one tonight, and follow for more on beginning again at any age.

For 25 years I climbed. Titles, deals, airports, a calendar so full you could not see the white space (who, me?). People sometimes expect me to say I regret it. I do not, not for one minute.

Those years taught me how to listen, how to lead a room, how to keep a promise when I was tired, and how to build something from nothing. Every single one of those skills is what I am using right now to build The Ever Good. None of it was wasted. It was the training.

So here is your permission slip. You get to be grateful for everything you have built and learned thus far, the jobs, the hard seasons, the people who raised you up and the ones who taught you what you never want again. You do not have to burn it down to begin something new. You get to carry all of it with you into the thing you have been dreaming about, and use your own voice to tell your own truth.

Tonight, take a pen and write down what your years have taught you. Then write what you want to build with it. I am telling you, it gets real the moment you see it in your own handwriting.

Two journals from our makers for exactly that:
1. Begin Within Healing Journal, spiral bound
2. Leather Journal, refillable, so it grows with you

Be honest. How many times have you told yourself it is too late?

Too late to change careers. Too late to start the thing. Too late to become the woman you keep picturing when no one is looking.

Here is what I know after 25 years in high tech sales. I am grateful for every one of those years, because they gave me exactly what I need now, and I have no regrets. That voice is not wisdom. It is fear, dressed up as being sensible. And it gets louder right before you are about to do something brave.

A second act is not a do over. It is everything you have learned, finally put to work for you. Start small, let it grow slowly, and please do not do it alone.

On Thursday the wait list opens for The Fall Planting, my season of mentorship for women ready to begin again, together. Until then, everything is under Work With Me in my bio.

Send this to the friend who keeps saying it is too late. 🤍

The ladder asks you to fight gravity every single day. Climb, hold on, climb again, and there is always more ladder.

A bridge asks nothing like that. It is already level. You simply walk across.

If you are tired, it is not because you failed at the climb. The climb was built to exhaust you. The easier way, the true one, was always across, toward your own voice and a life that fits.

What would crossing look like for you this season? Tell me in the comments. 🤍

I love my birthday and spending a beautiful morning on the beach with a yummy matcha was a perfect way to start off the day. 🤍
