Our first event back, and we’re here at the City of Palmdale Kaleidoscope! Let me tell you, it’s been a very interesting night. Electrical issues, setup hiccups, and just about every little thing decided to test us.

That’s part of rebuilding: you don’t realize how many little things you need until you’re back out there doing it. We’ve been figuring it out as we go.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us tonight. We appreciate you more than you know. 💜

Trini people always macoing at the wrong time! She shoulda been macoing when they were stealing my s**t! 😂

For those of you who don’t know, maco is Trinidadian slang for nosy, always in somebody’s business. And this one? She’s the queen!

Our generator, the business's first replacement piece of equipment, has arrived, and the Ring caught my girlfriend telling me, "Handle my stuff with care!" Me, with attitude: Mind your business, yo! Then she called me: Heifer, handle my stuff with care, okay?”😂

The rebuild is underway, and she is now supervising every delivery, please.

Happy Monday 💜 Anybody else grow up hearing, “Yuh want licks?” 😂🇹🇹

My daughter and her grandmother carrying on. She’s tickling her granny and calling the tickles licks. Now if you grew up Trini, you already know licks meant a whole different thing! It's a talking cut ass🤣

After the week we’ve had, I needed this laugh. Had to share a little moment with you. 💜

I want to say thank you. The calls, hugs, check-ins, donations, and kind words have carried me through a hard week. I felt the love, and I’m grateful.

I got my van back, and the repairs are done. I’ve made it over that hurdle; that chapter is now closed.

I’ll be outside at the Palmdale Pumpkin Patch, Kaleidoscope in Palmdale on Friday and Saturday, and at Haggin Oaks Farmers Market in Bakersfield on Sunday.

I won’t be at Roots & Rhythms Night Market on Friday. I made that decision in real time. Maybe five years ago, I would’ve tried to be in three places at once. But 2026 has been a lot, and I can feel my nervous system taking a hit. I don’t want to keep pushing until my body says, “F**k it, I’m done.”

Thank you for checking on me and reminding me I don’t have to carry all of this by myself. I’ll see you out there. 💜

We Caribbean people are humble, so this is not easy for me to post. But I’m putting my pride aside and sharing this.

The van was fully loaded for a major weekend: RefiSnacksEvents, Prancers Farm, Pumpkin Patch, Tehachapi Apple Festival, Little Sprouts KTSFarmersMarket and Haggin Oaks Farmers Market. My canopies, generator, herbs, herbal teas, supplies, signs, warmer, grill, fryer, umbrellas, and market equipment were all gone.

I started a GoFundMe to help replace urgent work items, repair the van, restock my herbs and teas, and get The Royal Womb back up and running.
