No, this is not a “coke straw” or a r**e whistle as a patient thought it was 🤣🤣…. It is called a breathing necklace or breathwork whistle💨. It is a physical tool that can help you to slow your breathing down. Breathwork is a collection of breathing techniques that involve intentionally changing your breathing pattern to improve your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Some people find breathwork can help them relax deeply or feel energized. 🧘‍♀️Try the 4-7-8 breathing technique. Inhale deeply through your nose for 4 counts, hold your breath for 7 counts, and exhale slowly for 8 counts (the breathing whistle helps orchestrate this easily, or you can do pursed lip exhalation). This breathing technique can help reduce anxiety by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system 😃.
