Quinoa. I like it. It's good for you. It's honestly not my favorite thing on its own. BUT, when I mix it with a ton of veggies and a homemade dressing, the yum factor goes way up! The one in the left is broccoli, carrots, bell pepper, mushrooms, cilantro, and a homemade Asian dressing. The one on the right is carrots, bell pepper, cilantro, corn, black beans, tomatoes, and a spicy vinaigrette. The dressing is essentially the same: oil, Apple cider vinegar, water, garlic, Italian herb blend, a pinch of salt. I add Braggs Liquid Aminos to one, and Cholula hot sauce to the other.

Measure yourself against you. I can guarantee that if you are in search of the perfect body, you will most likely never get it. Almost everyone (including myself at times) wishes they were better - more ripped - less body fat - bigger - faster - stronger - more perfect. I met a guy the other day: 6' 2", 210 pounds, and 10% body fat. "I'm really struggling to put on muscle," he says, "What can I do?" Over 6 foot and 210 pounds with 10 percent body fat is a "problem" a lot of guys I know wish they had. Undoubtedly he saw some guy in a magazine with a "perfect body" and evidently he wasn't quite stacking up. Look, don't measure yourself against others. Be the best YOU that you can be. I'm not saying to strive for average and okay. Be great! Be bold! But perfection is the enemy of progress. Focus on progress. Celebrate progress. Get 1% better each day. - Glen
