💪🏼 Movement Patterns
These are common patterns that our bodies must be able to achieve in order to be fully functional. This includes pushing, pulling, squatting, lunging, hinging, and carrying. 

💪🏼Strength 
This includes weightlifting, resistance training, and calisthenics. Strength training is what builds a durable body that can withstand stress and injury.

💪🏼Conditioning
This includes cardiorespiratory training, energy systems training, interval training, etc. This trains our body and it’s systems to adapt to stimuli in order to develop fitness and efficiency.

💪🏼Core
This includes any training exercises that strengthen the core. For example, abdominal muscles, gluteal muscles, diaphragm, and postural muscles.

💪🏼Balance
This includes training to avoid biases in strength. All unilateral (one-sided) training falls under this category. 

💪🏼Mobility
This is our joints ability to actively get into different positions. This is to purposefully train for healthy and mobile joints.

Sometimes we just need to stop, be real with ourselves, own up, and do something about it.

Making excuses and blaming others might make you feel better… but it’s not going to make you happy or bring you success.

Instead, get clear on where you want to be and why. Create a detailed action plan. Execute the plan.

The plan can be flexible. If it’s not working for you then figure something else out. That is totally okay! What works for one person is not going to work for everyone else.

3 things you can do on Sunday’s to prep for a successful week 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

⭐️Grocery shop. You’ll be less likely to eat out if you have the groceries already bought and at home.

⭐️ Plan out your meals. This can be doing some meal prep (cooking in bulk, washing as cutting up veggies, etc.). Or it can be simply just writing down a meal for each day.

⭐️Schedule your workouts. Add days and times in your schedule. If you plan your own workouts, write your workouts up ahead of time.

It’s all about setting yourself up for success✨✨✨✨

Things to consider when deciding if you should invest in a home gym 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

⭐️First and most obvious, how much space do you have to work with?

The amount of equipment you want will determine the amount of space you need. Home gyms CAN take up a lot of space. There are also a lot of “space saving” equipment and storage hacks if you are limited on space. You really don’t need a ton of space if you just want the basics. But you do need to have some sort of designated space prepared.

⭐️Secondly, how dedicated and consistent are you right now with your workouts?

If you are thinking about buying a home gym in hopes that it will motivate you to workout, you’re likely mistaken. I recommend that you prove to yourself that you are dedicated to workout BEFORE investing your money in all this equipment that may potentially just sit there.

⭐️Third, do you like working out by yourself?

Some people do, some people don’t. Either way is great. Just understand that when you are working out by yourself, you are the only one holding yourself accountable. This is why in part two I tell you to prove your dedication before you invest.

⭐️Fourth
If you plan on using the garage, consider your climate. Most garages (at least in Vegas) are not insulated. You’ll either have to be okay with working out in hot / cold temps or you’ll have to invest further in cooling and heating systems.


🌟If you’re on the fence, start by just buying a kettlebell and a set of dumbbells. Test out at-home workouts with those. See if you enjoy working out at home and on your own. See how it works with your schedule. Examine if this is something you could stick to and if you want to invest further into.

You don’t have to buy everything at once. You can gradually build up to your dream gym.

Although there are quite some points to consider when buying a home gym, for the right person it can be the best decision for them.

Chelsea is amazing. I strained my hamstring muscle during a workout and after 1 session of FST stretching the pain subsided and range of movement increased. I perform on a Salsa team locally and that injury made dancing more difficult but after just 3 sessions the pain was gone and the movement was back. FST stretching is something I will now use more often because it takes my soreness away and gives my body more movement and flexibility. I highly recommend trying it if you have not.
Chelsea is awesome and took the time to really understand my concerns. I have never had stretch therapy but felt like it was exactly what I needed to balance my body. I will definitely book another session.
I’ve had several sessions with Chelsea over the last 4-5 months as a maintenance for myself to assist in alleviating my lower back tightness along with headaches. I always feel so much better after our hour sessions and the results continue to show in my workouts and in the way my body feels throughout the day. I highly recommend stretch therapy to anyone looking for increased mobility and or pain management.
I’ve really benefited from my recent stretch therapy sessions with Chelsea! She uses slow deliberate stretches in combination with the hyper volt massage gun. She never forces anything to be uncomfortable. I’ve definitely felt a difference in my hip and back pain after our sessions. I would never be able to stretch myself out the way she does and I’ve really enjoyed our sessions. I feel so much better!
