Tell us about your family!
⭐️ My husband, Curtis, is an air traffic controller and that’s what brought us to Virginia. Charlotte is 2.5 and loves to draw, play outside, sing songs from Frozen & Moana, and eat goldfish. Noah is 6 months and is such a smiley, happy baby boy! We love to take our dog on walks in the neighborhood and we like to watch movies together!
Where did you grow up?
⭐️ I was born & raised in Dover, New Hampshire

⭐️I’m currently living in Leesburg
What was your previous career?
⭐️ I’m a former educator turned SAHM. I taught 3rd grade most recently but have taught 4th and 5th grades as well
How did you find FIT4MOM?
⭐️ I was desperate to find a way to workout but not during nap time! I went on a quick Google search for “workouts with baby” and I found FIT4MOM was running a summer special. I decided to sign up for the summer and instantly loved the community!
What do you love about FIT4MOM?
⭐️ I love being able to model staying active for my children & being part of a community full of kind/supportive mamas

I found FIT4MOM 10 years ago. The first picture is our franchise’s first class ever. I’m in there somewhere 😅but I was most likely standing on the side holding my then-11 month old, because I was terrified to have a “fussy” kid. I remember I didn’t even have “workout” clothes, only soccer shorts and t-shirts from my pre-mom life (and identity).
I knew ZERO moms, literally none. But I don’t remember being nervous, because I just knew before I even showed up that was going to be my next path. I knew I wanted to be an instructor before my first class, I had always had a passion for coaching, sports, and sports medicine, and while I had never taken a group fitness class before I just knew I wanted to be a fitness instructor. Which was a BIG 180 from my pre-mom work of legal research. (Backstory: I had wanted to go to law school ever since 4th grade, after sitting through the trial of the drunk driver who killed my brother. I almost switched paths a few times (to Exercise Science), but kept being drawn back to the legal field.)
Then, ever since I attended my first training in June 2014, I was inspired - to help moms fall in love with FIT4MOM the way I did, to help moms never feel alone like I did, to empower moms to find the fun in their movement. From my first Stroller Strides certification, I was inspired to grow as an instructor, always pursuing continuing education and additional certifications, to then taking a leap and applying for the PRO Team (and making it 🎉!). But, just like we coach our clients - we have to get a little uncomfortable to find the magic - I was uncomfortable! I had impostor syndrome in my first tenure on the PRO Team, and almost didn’t apply again. But I did (and am back for a third term), and it was taking that bigger leap that led me to fall in love again with FIT4MOM, discovering a new identity I have grown into.
All of that was to say the last 10 years have been a wild, bumpy, scary, empowering, inspiring journey that I never would have foreseen, but sometimes we find ourselves exactly where we’re meant to be.

Stroller Strides® is a functional, total-body conditioning workout designed for moms with kids in tow. Each 60-minute workout is comprised of strength training, cardio and core restoration, all while entertaining little ones with songs, activities and fun! Each Stroller Strides instructor is skilled to meet you where you are mentally and physically. You’ll leave class feeling connected, successful and energized! No more mama guilt! Stroller Barre® is a 60-minute cardio and strength interval class designed to improve posture, stability, and mobility. The workout combines moves inspired by barre, ballet, Pilates, ﬁtness, and yoga to help you regain your posture and alignment and strengthen your body from the inside out! Stroller Barre will help you reconnect with your body, increase flexibility and develop the core strength needed for motherhood.
Strides 360™ promises a heart-pumping workout designed to increase your endurance while also developing speed, agility, and quickness to help you sprint through mom life. Bodyweight conditioning is strategically placed to provide recovery, strength and round out your workout. It's for any mom interested in a workout that can be as hard as you need it to be on your good days or scaled back on days you’re not sure how you made it out the door! Bring your kiddos with you in the stroller or leave the kiddo at home and come play with your mom friends. Either way, the hour will fly by and leave you energized for the rest of your day!
Body Back® Transformation is an 8-week result based journey. You will focus on your mind and body improving your overall health and well being. The experience includes two 60-minute high-intensity interval workouts (HIIT) per week designed to challenge, empower, and recharge you. Additionally, pre and post fitness assessments are completed allowing you to see your progress and celebrate your accomplishments. Nutrition guidance is provided to educate and guide you toward healthy eating habits. The program also includes supplemental online workouts, accountability, and support. This eight-week journey will reconnect you to your inner strength and encourage you to believe in personal transformation.
FIT4BABY® is designed specifically for moms-to-be. All exercises are carefully selected to prepare your body for the many changes you will experience during pregnancy. You can begin FIT4BABY at any point during pregnancy as the workouts are scientifically- based, purposeful and designed to accommodate your changing body. The 60-minute workout includes cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility training and ends with a relaxing meditation; everything you need during this precious time!
Take your run training to the next step with our 8-week guided training programs. Whether you’re training for a specific running goal such as a 5K, 10K, or a half marathon, or simply want the support and structure of a run training program, we provide at-home and in-person opportunities to train, learn, and improve. Included in the 8 weeks are tips for getting started, detailed training plans for a variety of distances or general running (running and cross-training), as well as nutrition tips for fueling during training. Each week, you’ll receive email support, accountability and progress check-ins from our Run Club+ Coach.
MamaWell is a 42-week online course filled with modern wisdom and whole body guidance for your personal journey into motherhood. Our custom course platform will take you through exactly how to move, what to eat, and how to best prepare for birth and beyond.
