Did you know that most women don't know their skin's #undertone?
When choosing a #foundation, it's one of the most crucial elements. Most women are under the impression this is a difficult task, but it's usually quite simple.
•Ask yourself one question:
"Do I #burn easier or #tan easier when I am out in the sun?"
•If you burn easier, your skin holds more #pink which typically means you have more of a pink undertone.
•If you tan easier, your skin holds more #yellow which typically means you have more of a yellow undertone.
•If you burn first, then fade to a slight tan, you are closer to a #neutral, which means you land somewhere in the center of those two areas. This is when you want to look at your skin and determine if you feel you are closer to a pink or yellow undertone. Most commonly, my clients will lean closer to pink.
•If you are of a #deep #skin tone, you will typically have an easy time determining whether your undertones are more yellow or pink/red. Holding a white towel next to your skin will assist you in seeing the prominent undertone a little easier.
