I’m going to be very transparent & raw in this post…
About 9 months ago, before this journey began, Denise had reached out to Kayla with interest in recruiting her to join their team. They had a meeting set up, but Kayla canceled & explained that we were in the hospital with Tripp. In the following weeks Denise continued to check on Tripp. But she didn’t stop there, she continued to pray for our sweet baby all this time.
Last week this amazing woman called Kayla, not about recruiting her, but to follow up on Tripp! She asked how he was doing, how the fundraising was going, and how she could help!
Just the day before that call, we were talking about what is next? What can we do now? How are we going to raise this last half to pay off the balance of training?
We have considered trying to take out a loan, selling Colton’s truck, many things that aren’t realistic. I have even considered giving up entirely on the thought of Poppy coming home to us & donating her to someone else in need.. The weight of this “debt” has been heavy on us.
I just keep praying daily that the Lord would guide us in the right direction, and answer our prayers & provide what is needed.
Our trainer had also just recently reached out for an update on Tripp & to talk about the remaining balance owed.
I am so thankful that she has been kind and understanding, but realistically she does have a business to run.
So here we are, 9 month later & Denise reaches out to Kayla, TO CHECK ON TRIPP!! She tells us that Tripp has been heavy on her heart, she has been praying for him and that they want to help! She had spoke with Cindi and they wanted to meet us and talk about how they could help us fundraise! On Tuesday, Kayla & I met with Denise, Cindi & Jordan.
They own a 501c3 non profit in Tyler, TX called WAGS Upscale Consignment & Boutique. They are a non-profit that gives aid to/and supports pets at risk and many other community outreach program needs involving pets!
Through WAGS, they are helping us fundraise for Tripp! They have set up a new GoFundMe through their nonprofit in hopes to help us reach this goal!
When I say the Lord is in this, I mean it! I can’t even put into words how thankful I am.
I have to remember HE always makes a way, even when we feel like throwing in the towel. HE IS THERE. & I know HE WILL provide. 💜
At WAGS, we believe in coming together to support families … WAGS Upscale Consignment and Boutique needs your support for Help Tripp’s Dog Become His Lifeline
