This pages purpose is to pass on vital information that is relative to other veterans.

This page is not manned 24/7. If you are experiencing a crisis, Please call the VA Crisis Line @ 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1.

My job is to help give you the information you need, so you can be taken care of when you come home! The Military Trains us to go to war! No one trains us to come home!

I am a 100 Percent Disabled Veteran that retired with 20 years of military service! I am also an Accredited Veteran Representative. I decided to become a representative because I know first hand, how frustrating it is to work with the VA System. So I took the time to study for months and understand the regulations and process of the VA System! After many months of studying, I took the test at VA, passed with flying colors, and received my accreditation! I don't charge my fellow veterans for any assistance that I give.

I don't do this for me, I do this for us! The military trains us to go to war, but no one trains us to come home! Information is only powerful, if you give it away!

Effective immediately we will no longer be posting post reporting veterans that have committed suicide, obituaries, and reports of death. Our deepest condolences reach out to anyone who has experienced a lost. These type postings are triggers for many veterans.

Please join my page, and when you find new information, share it with your fellow veteran. Each One teach One!

A lovely military man selling poppies stopped me today and asked if he could reposition mine - while doing so he told me that women should wear their poppy on their right side; the red represents the blood of all those who gave their lives, the black represents the mourning of those who didn't have their loved ones return home, and the green leaf represents the grass and crops growing and future prosperity after the war destroyed so much. The leaf should be positioned at 11 o'clock to represent the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, the time that World War One formally ended. He was worried that younger generations wouldn't understand this and his generation wouldn't be around for much longer to teach them. (copy and paste to share just like I did) 🌹 we must remember those from our current wars too!

Today the Female Veteran Suicide Prevention Act (S. 2487/H.R. 2915) passed the House of Representatives and is on its way to being signed into law. Women veterans are six times as likely as non-veteran women to commit suicide. Women veterans ages 18-29, many of whom have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, are twelve times as likely. The study below, commissioned by DAV, helped raise awareness and facilitate the bill.
