They worked with me to get my PT appointments set up so I could come in when I got off work. Having a place in Lindsay saves a lot of time, and cuts back on all of the driving.
When I came in, I was having issues with weakness in my knee. With my Physical Therapist, and with doing the home exercises, I've been able to resume my normal work schedule.

🎀 Let’s talk about the part of breast cancer recovery that doesn’t always get enough attention: getting back to YOUR life.

Reaching into the cupboard. Washing your hair. Carrying groceries. Picking up your little one. Getting back to work—or simply having more energy for the day. 💗

After surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation, these everyday things can feel different. Pain, tightness, fatigue, and weakness can linger, even after treatments have ended.

That’s where physical therapy can help! 🙌

🌸 Restore shoulder and arm movement
🌸 Ease pain, stiffness, and scar-related tightness
🌸 Rebuild strength and endurance
🌸 Manage fatigue with activity tailored to you
🌸 Improve balance and confidence
🌸 Make everyday tasks feel more manageable

Your goals don’t have to be big to be important. Putting on a shirt comfortably, sleeping with less pain, or getting back to your favorite hobby are all worth working toward.

Today we’re celebrating ONE YEAR of Sam at JPT! What an accomplishment—and what a year it has been! ❤️

Sam was the very first employee hired at JPT, and taking a chance on a new clinic means a lot. She jumped in, buckled down through the busy times, and has helped us grow into the team we are today. We’re so thankful she chose to be part of this adventure!

Her charisma, caring attitude, humor, and intelligence make her such an important piece of the JPT puzzle. She brings so much to our patients and our team.

Sam faces challenges head-on with a can-do, no-quit attitude… unless that challenge is driving through fog. She’ll tackle a busy clinic day, but a foggy commute? That may forever remain her least favorite part of the job!

In a small clinic, every person makes a big difference, and Sam has certainly made hers. Her hard work, ideas, and willingness to navigate the growing pains of our first year have meant so much.

Sam, thank you for your first year of dedication to JPT and the people we serve. It’s a pleasure working beside you, and building something we’re proud of together. We’re grateful for you and look forward to many more years—with hopefully a little less fog! 😉🫣

Nearly a week has passed since our JPT 1st Birthday Bash, and I’ve had some time to reflect on this past year. What a whirlwind it has been! So many ups, a few downs, and through it all, overwhelming gratitude for the opportunity God has given me and my family. ❤️

First, thank you to our community. Your support, referrals, kindness, and the way you’ve welcomed us have been nothing short of amazing. Thank you for trusting us with your care and helping JPT grow.

To my family: thank you for jumping on board with every crazy idea—usually with a timeline that’s a little unreasonable! Your encouragement, patience, and willingness to help make those ideas happen mean more than you know.

And to my JPT team: you girls have become part of my family. I’m pretty sure there are days my kids like you more than they like me! 😉 You are the people I never knew I needed, but God knew better. JPT wouldn’t be what it is today without your hard work, compassion, kindness, willingness to embrace change, and all the wonderful ideas you bring to the table. I’m so thankful to work alongside you.

Together, we’ve surpassed what I imagined was possible in our first year. I can’t wait to see what year two brings as we continue to grow, serve our community, and help people keep doing the things they love.
