It’s honestly been a long time since I’ve received a comment like this; it happened more when I was an RPN. But I know these comments are still out there. Usually the person doesn’t have the ill intentions perceived, but it doesn’t make it hurt less. For anyone who is “just a nurse” and not a doctor, not planning on continuing education, are happy where they are; I see you. You matter, and you’re doing an amazing job!!!

So when a nurse does it as we are required to by law on dressings, IV tubing and bags, and other things of that variety it's fine, but a CNA doing it to hold others accountable is a "breach of dignity"? I've never heard of state cracking down on this.
