LA was such a LITTY CITY I almost forgot to post about it. 🔥

My is basically EVERYONE who pulled up to .

I may be biased, but while this entire nationwide experience has been unforgettable, the ladies of LA did NOT come to play. It was a GREAT DAY. (Love a good rhyme 😂)

And extra love to the fam for pulling up too. Jamie D Mercado (aka Jay)
After all these weeks on the road, it was pretty damn special for Fox to actually see what mom has been out here doing. Proud werking mama moment for sure.
So happy to be HOME. So proud of what we’ve done.
And soooo excited for what’s next. 👀✨

HOT TAKE: Whether you’re interviewing for a job, pitching a client, asking for a promotion, building a business, trying to speak, get referred, raise your rates, or walk into a bigger room…
you’re still auditioning.

Twenty plus years across casting, fashion, advertising, talent, production, entrepreneurship, and brand strategy, one thing is very clear:
The most qualified person does not automatically get the opportunity.

I’m so excited to be teaching what I learned from spending two decades on the other side of the decision.

Maybe you don’t need another rebrand.

Maybe you need to figure out what the hell the brand is supposed to be doing for you.

Because a new website can’t fix unclear positioning.

And a great logo definitely can’t help you negotiate when somebody finally slides into your inbox and says:
“We’d love to work with you. What’s your rate?”
That’s the part we don’t talk about enough.

It’s not just:
How do I look more professional?
It’s:
What should I be known for?

How do I turn that into more paid opportunities?
What should I charge when those opportunities show up?

How do I negotiate without immediately talking myself down?

And how do I make sure I’m actually getting PAID for the value I bring?

Because getting the opportunity is only half the job.
Knowing what you’re worth when it arrives is the other half.

That’s what we’re getting into inside The Positioned Program: How to Build + Negotiate Real Opportunities.
And yes, we’re talking about how to
MAKE. THEM. PAY.

I’ll never get over the privilege of being a tastemaker.

The people. The personalities. The beauty. The vibes. The energy of discovering someone special in real time.

Getting to be in the room where talent gets seen will forever be one of my favorite places to be.

San Antonio, you understood the assignment. 🤠✨

Next stop: Nashville. Let’s see what you’ve got. 👀

A year ago, on June 23rd, my dad passed away.

I found myself speaking to students at Syracuse University’s LA program on the very same day. At the time, it felt surreal. This year, it felt intentional.

Huge thank you to my friend Michael Green for the invitation back, and congratulations on becoming a judge! We are all so proud of you and the impact you’re making.

There are few things I enjoy more than sharing what I’ve learned, pulling back the curtain on this industry, and hopefully helping the next generation navigate it with a little more confidence, clarity, and courage.

What started as an unexpected coincidence is starting to feel like a tradition. A day spent investing in young talent, celebrating possibility, and honoring my dad in a way I know he would appreciate.
Turns out one of the best ways to carry someone forward is to keep pouring into people.
Grateful for the opportunity. Grateful for the students. Grateful for the legacy. 🤎

473,823 hours later… I voted. ✅

California said, “Would you like to participate in democracy?” and then handed me a 9-page final exam.

Diligently researching candidates, judges, and measures felt like life or death this time around. Because it truly is. My little Foxy’s life depends on it. 🦊

(Voting Edition): California, if you’re planning to vote on the fly, bring snacks, a charger, a beverage, and perhaps a small support group because this ballot is STACKED.

And if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information, do yourself a favor: sit down at home, take your time, do your research, and fill out your ballot from the comfort of your couch before dropping it off.

(Hopefully in your case the sprinkler system won’t try and block you from the voting ballot box)! 💦

Anyway, I survived. Barely. See you all again at the next California Bar Exam. 🫠🗳️
