Until the ties are broken.
What are you strapped to?
The answers might be more subtle than you think.

On Wednesday nights, I break down Buddhist teachings and practices into something we can truly see and put to use in real time.

The past few weeks were about “Ten Fetters”. The ways we see ourselves, what we fight for, believe in, the doubts, the needs… and how those things are like a self-made rope tying your boat to the dock.

It’s harder to miss once you see it.

We’re a small group and diverse of people, casual and easy to be with. Never talking politics, just working out our own s**t together, and creating positive change.

All are welcome, for real!

And I don’t ask for money.

Every Wednesday night - since 2018

Simple, but not easy…
Joining a meditation group with lessons you can jive with is key to developing your own practice.

I’ve been formally trained and teaching diverse small groups to meditate for over eight years. This includes practical applications of Buddhism in living a life with less stress.

If you’re expecting soft, flowery, new age bulls**t…
We’re probably not for you.

Check it out.
Anyone can do it, I swear.
No charge, donation optional (I have day job :)

Blessed Solstice! Just happens that Xmas Eve and New Year’s Eve fall on Wednesday nights this year. We’ll be there, of course. Meditation, contemplation and communication, we keep it casual. All are welcome, sober vibe, always free.

We opened the doors 7 years ago with this invitation.
Still true.

Check it out. Wednesday nights 730 Pacific
Education Meditation Communication Contemplation

No matter what, doors opened (or Zoom turned on) every Wednesday night since 2018 for anyone seeking positive change.
No politics, no new age bulls**t.
Just practicing seeing this world together through the lens of Dharma.
Buddhism has this radical idea that we can experience it all with a degree of grace through wisdom and compassion. Purification through renunciation of harmful thoughts and actions (it’s more radical than it sounds).
I’ve spent the last decade learning to describe it in ways we can all grasp at ground level and test it out in real life, not ideal life. Meditation isn’t magic either, but with some practice, patience and practical instruction, everyone finds their way to befriend the experience and absorb the views of insight.

A few gems:
Do no harm, take no s**t. Kindness isn’t always nice.
What you know and what you do ain’t the same thing.
We’ll see.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
Everything is how it’s supposed to be.
Nothing isn’t Dharma.

Happy birthday to us. 🎂 Thanx everyone 🙏🏼
