🚨 🚨 🚨 Warriors; we deserve better! We deserve a brighter future, a future with a cure and effective treatment options. A better tomorrow for you, me, and our fellow GP family across the country and the World!
Currently in the United States there is no Functional Motility Bill that would expand funding for Gastroparesis/ Digestive Tract Paralysis research; research that would be key in finding a cure and the development of effective, safer treatments for this condition, leading to that brighter tomorrow that I know we all strive for every single day!!
Warriors, it's past time for our voices to be heard. The time is NOW! We need our voices to be heard NOW!! Not tomorrow, not next week, next month or next year! Our voices need to be heard now!
I have been in contact with Congressman Morgan McGarvey's office from Kentucky (my home) in regards to the need for a Functional Motility bill to be introduced in the United States. The previous Legislation introduced in 2019 made it only so far, but the need for a revised, more streamlined bill is needed today!
I am asking each one of you, whether you are a Gastroparesis Warrior yourself or whether a loved one or friend is the Gastroparesis Warrior; your voice matters! Your story matters! Your input MATTERS!! If you have any suggestions or questions, or any input whatsoever that you would like in a Functional Motility Bill, please email me at [email protected].
We can all make a difference in the future of Gastroparesis research and treatment but our voices need to be heard in order for that day to come! Use your voice, be the change that we all want to see.

Warriors, let's not forget Wednesday February 14th is Wear Green for Gastroparesis Day 2024. Let's make a statement this Valentine's Day; not by wearing the traditional red and pink; but Green in support of the String Sisters 14th Anniversary of Wear Green for Gastroparesis Day!
Wearing green this coming Wednesday is sure to become a conversation starter! What a great way to raise awareness for this incredibly ruthless disease by showing off our green to support our loved ones and friends!!
