Now that we’ve reintroduced ourselves, we thought we can reintroduce colon hydrotherapy. So what is colon hydrotherapy?
Colon hydrotherapy is the introduction of warm, filtered and temperature-regulated water into the colon. The water softens and loosens waste resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis. This process is repeated several times during the session. (from I-ACT Standard Operating Procedures)

From 1993 to 2002 (almost 10 years) Hamri suffered from debilitating migraines. Almost every week she paid a visit to a western medical doctor. Trying every prescription drug on the market, she was caught in a cycle of disappointment and desperation. After completing her Masters in Healthcare Management, she decided to enroll in massage school. This experience changed her life. She was introduced to other alternative health modalities and started incorporating herbs, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, massage, and colon hydrotherapy to heal her body and digestive tract. Since then, her health has changed completely! She decided that if her new wellness plan worked for her then she could help others. From her start in California to now, she has continued to broaden her scope of practice since 2004. She has been in her current location in Louisville providing Colon Hydrotherapy and other Detox services since 2014! ⁠

Our second therapist is Allegra! Allegra officially became a part of the Hamri’s Health and Wellness family at the start of this year. She trained under Hamri in Colon Hydrotherapy and is an I-ACT Certified Professional Colon Hydrotherapist/ NBCHT Credentialed. She is also a graduate from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s in integrative human biology (fun fact: both Hamri and Allegra graduated undergrad from Cal).
Allegra’s long-term goal is to be a holistic health care practitioner. Allegra’s passion is to see people live in full health by supporting the body to heal itself. She loves connecting with new people and creating meaningful relationships with her clients. She loves spending any moment she can researching natural health. Outside of gut health/holistic health and colon hydrotherapy, she is passionate about clean skin care and beauty as well as connecting with nature in the outdoors.

We feel we are due for a reintroduction as our social media is being refreshed! And what better way than to start with reintroducing Hamri herself!
Hamri started doing Colon Hydrotherapy in 2014 and has been practicing ever since! Hamri holds many titles including: a Holistic Health Practitioner, an I-ACT Certified Professional Colon Hydrotherapy Instructor/ NBCHT Credentialed Colon Hydrotherapist. She is also a licensed massage therapist & health educator from National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA since 2003. She also holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Golden Gate University, and holds a bachelor’s degree from University of California Berkeley.  At the present time, Hamri is pursuing her degree in Professional Naturopathic Practitioner (PNP) through Southern Institute of Natural Health.  
Hamri is so compassionate and knowledgeable about holistic health that is very diverse which gives her a fresh perspective on holistic health. Her experience is invaluable!
