h**p is highly underrated in the natural fiber world. this fiber is like your cool younger sister who everyone loves when they meet her, but she has no idea how incredible she is.

h**p fabrics breathe like a dream, soften with wear, hold their shape and age with character. It’s also incredibly durable and when growing, often uses minimal irrigation and fewer chemicals than cotton.

JUNGMAVEN has been pioneering sustainable h**p clothing since the 90s. I’ve acquired a handful of their pieces over the years and still have all of them in my closet.

I know these comfy, cozy sun shorts will be in heavy rotation for me and I anticipate they will hold up well 💛

If you’re beginning the journey to transition your wardrobe to natural fibers, activewear is one of the categories you should consider first. Its pieces are often worn closest to your skin and ones that you sweat in.

I get asked frequently what brands are making quality (and cute!) activewear with natural fibers.

I will admit, this is the last category in my wardrobe that I’ve put a lot of work into swapping pieces out. These are some of the brands I’m looking to incorporating more pieces into my wardrobe for activewear and athleisure.

I found this incredible raw Greek wool skirt recently on . the brand uses pure Greek cotton and raw Greek wool and the knits are just so luxurious and well made.

this knitted skirt is the perfect transitional piece that I know I’ll be wearing in the fall, through winter and still in the spring. even though I didn’t pay full price, this just dropped some instant equity into my wardrobe. the cost per wear on this one is about to be soooo low.

and no, I didn’t send a low ball offer! the seller sent out a generous offer and I quickly accepted ☺️

the natural fibers fits and info aren’t going anywhere (or thrift hauls!), they’re honestly just going to be getting better. opportunities have been arising for me to partner with some brands and it’s exciting to be able to introduce you all to some you may not have really heard of before.

my background is in product development/design/marketing in the fashion and home textiles industries. I worked with so many amazing brands and designers in my “big girl job”—I had zoom calls with Vera Wang, sat in meetings with Zac Posen, toured Martha Stewart’s offices with Martha herself.

walking away from all of this shortly after I had my first baby made me feel like I was losing a part of myself. I know my identity isn’t in my job or what I do, but lately it’s been really fun to flex these creative muscles on my own and see where it goes.

I’m not trying to become a huge influencer or anything but truthfully, I am seeking to use my talents, knowledge and creativity to maybe bring in a little extra income for my family.

I’ll never partner with any brand or promote any product that I don’t feel aligns with my values or the info that I have been sharing here. I’d love to answer any questions and provide honest feedback on anything that I do choose to promote.
