GAMES has recently reconnected with Georgia Medicaid and we have started to arrange calls and meet with Georgia CMOs on a regular basis. These meetings aim to address the challenges that providers encounter and work together toward solutions. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Day at the Dome since the pandemic and thanks to the support of Laura Williard of AAHomecare and our new lobbyist, Peachtree Government Relations.
More than 20 GAMES members participated in back-to-back visits and meetings with their representatives to educate them on the challenges facing the HME Industry.
There was a tremendous energy in the room and it was great to see our members use their collective voice to educate and enlist the support of our legislators on tangible initiatives that would support an industry that has been decimated by multiple legislative, regulatory, and global pandemic related occurrences.
GAMES is committed to using this momentum to mobilize more HME providers to engage in the association's grassroots efforts.
