In Mark 5, when Jesus delivered the man possessed among the tombs, the people came out and saw him in his right mind and the Bible says they were afraid. Instead of rejoicing, they asked Jesus to leave.

​People who only knew the broken version of you will often struggle to accept the healed version of you❗️

​When you’ve lived in survival mode, chaos, or pain, people build a box for you. They get comfortable with your chains because it fits their narrative. But when God steps in, breaks the cycle, and restores your mind, your transformation will disrupt the people who were committed to your dysfunction.

​Do not shrink back to make others comfortable with where you used to be. Walk in your wholeness. Celebrate your deliverance with the people who knew you before your downfall.

From this day forward, I vow to be my own biggest advocate. I will speak life, stay rooted in positivity, and trust the vision and discernment God has placed inside me. I can't keep pouring grace into everyone else while starving myself of it. Even when I fall short, I will speak life and encourage myself.
