I’ve been cleared by my doctor to start intense workouts again, and I couldn’t be happier! I went to an early @orangetheory class today. Whew I have missed the challenging class, but the feeling of accomplishment even more. I just feel more relaxed and able to deal with life’s challenges after a good session.

I wanna use all the tools I can to stay (or get) healthy physically and mentally.

I’ve gained and regained weight for years! UNTIL!!! I realized my biggest problem. ⁣
⁣
πŸ‘‰πŸ½My approach to reaching my physique goals was always something I couldn’t keep up with realistically for the long term. ⁣
⁣
I’d try hella cardio, no sugar, heavier lifting, eating less, super low carb, fat burners, diuretics, no gluten, 2-a-days, sauna sessions you name it.⁣
⁣
I kept starting over, which sucked every time. And even though SOME of those factors above contributed to my short term goals⁣ the fact of⁣ the matter was, I was always looking for a quick way out.
⁣
My mindset was β€œHow can I just get to the goal I want quickly and be done with it.” The secret is ... there is no β€œdone.” This journey never ends! So when I removed my imaginary deadline and started incorporating methods that actually work for me and my desire for flexibility and sustainable progress, THATS when I started to see change that actually stuck around long enough for me to enjoy it. ⁣
⁣
I was the yo-yo diet queen. I had to repair my relationship with food and remove my food rules I created for myself. ⁣
⁣
I had to learn more about the science and less about the quick and easy trendy BS online. ⁣
⁣
And THAT is one of the many reasons why I’m so passionate about educating others about ways you can reach your goals without trying to jump on the next trend, or eliminating food groups, or restricting food you enjoy, or self sabotaging and constantly starting over, or not digging deeper into the true reasons you’re struggling with your eating habits. ⁣
⁣
It’s much simpler than you think. But you have to step out of your own way, seek knowledge, empower yourself to make mindful food decisions and incorporate habits that work for you for the long term.⁣

These are all of the things I teach in my FREE Macros and Mindful Eating Nutrition Class where I show you how you can still eat food you love, practice mindfulness AND lose body fat at the same time! You can have your cake and eat it too! Literally πŸ˜‚β£

Bra bulge is back fat and excess skin accumulating over time around our chest and over to our back. There’s nothing more frustrating than putting on your best outfit and noticing your back and armpit rolls poking out. 😩 BUT πŸ›‘ There is no way to SPOT REDUCE fat. Although you cannot get rid of an area of fat through targeted exercises alone, you can reduce your overall body fat through healthy eating (a caloric deficit), strength training, and cardio. You can also reduce the bra bulge's appearance by getting fitted for the right bra size and improving your posture. Sit up straight sis. πŸ§˜πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ
