Have you ever been amazed at what your body can do?

Yesterday on my I jogged for 29 minutes without a walk break. I had no idea I had gotten my conditioning back up to that level. 😁💪🏾

That is the beauty in consistency (getting it done even when you don't feel like it). You're getting stronger with every workout and reaching new levels of awesome. Those 9 miles felt so good...until I stopped. But then I went to Restore for the infrared sauna & cryo...I felt so much better.

Our bodies are amazing machines that can adapt and will adapt if you keep pushing. Here's to getting out there and getting it done for those that can't.

When you’re 35 and above, the workouts and diet that you used to do when you were 20,  MAY NO LONGER work now. That’s because we are in the perimenopause / menopause stage.

I Got in a little over 8 miles today for the .
My legs were cramping towards the end...just a little and my feet starting hurting but I will be ok. The cause is more important than my little discomfort.

I am actually grateful I get to do something like this.

Ever wondered how some people manage to juggle it all and STILL crush their health goals? 

My previous client used to wonder, too.

Meet Shanai, a supermom in her late 30s who found her mojo with our program!

When she joined my weight loss and hormone balancing program, she discovered the powerful connection between stress, weight loss, and hormones – something that not everybody is aware of.

If you've been busting your butt, eating right, and still struggling, you might be missing a key piece of the puzzle: STRESS.

You should know that high cortisol is just another way to say "high stress." But here's the kicker – you actually need cortisol to be higher during certain times of the day. BUT BUT BUT not all day.

And for most of us, especially busy moms juggling a million things, that cortisol stays sky-high all day long, wreaking havoc on our bodies.

I want to tell you about this one person I worked with, let's call her "the sleepless workaholic." She was a powerhouse, running two successful businesses, but her health was suffering.

She couldn't sleep, was constantly anxious, and despite her best efforts, she couldn't shed those stubborn pounds.

Why? HIGH cortisol from chronic stress. She was exercising, dieting like crazy, and had no idea that food sensitivities were contributing to her stress levels. Wheat, dairy, corn, soy, and sugar – they were all making things worse.

I know I am.

Women's pain has been dismissed for far too long, and I bet you’d agree when I say that it's time for that to change.

For years, we've been told to just tough it out, suck it in, and that our discomfort is normal and that we should simply accept it.

People often ask me why I'm always smiling. My answer? I've learned over the years that a positive outlook is deeply connected to how well I'm taking care of myself.

Yes, hormonal imbalances can dampen our mood, but embracing a lifestyle that prioritizes hormone balancing nutrition, stress management, and quality sleep can significantly boost our outlook on life.

My days are built around this. I start my mornings with appreciation for the sunrise and gratitude that I get to see it. Then meditation and prayer. Gratitude really goes a long way in changing our mood for the better.

I go to bed at a decent hour even if it means skipping a late-night show. I value how good I feel when I rise because of this one focused effort. It's all about making choices that enhance our well-being.

Remember, our mood and perspective are influenced by more than just hormones. Psychological well-being, environmental factors, and personal situations also play key roles. By setting boundaries, protecting our physical & mental space, our time for exercise, and committing to our sleep schedules, we can address the root causes of imbalance and cultivate a life that's both fulfilling and joyful.

A few easy tips for getting off sugar is to opt for sweet fruits and vegetables as you come off of it.

Increase your water intake and healthy fats, this should help ease the cravings.

Remember the more you eat the more you want, so breaking up with it cold turkey like a toxic ex boyfriend is the best way to do it.🤣
