PiYo and strength training classes are now available for the Atlanta, GA area! Welcome to Tia V Fitness! This page is for anyone looking to live a healthier lifestyle. I'll share my favorite meals, workouts and group exercise class info here. I'm a Mom of three and I know how busy life can get. After having my third baby I decided to really start eating clean and devoting time everyday to working

out for at least 30 minutes. I started my new healthy lifestyle in June and by September I felt a shift. Not only did I feel better about myself but I had developed some great new habits too. It is my hope that I can motivate and encourage you to stay on the path to achieving your personal fitness goals and have a little fun along the way. Don't wait for tomorrow - start TODAY!

18/31: Currently : I’m editing a video for the app that explains the 30 day REBOOT. It’s a simple 30 day reboot to clean our systems and keep us moving. The reboot ends just in time for the holiday season. 😉

10/6 & 10/14: Pumpkins & Fall Porch : I honestly do not have a caption for this, lol. Here are a few announcements just in case you’re new to my corner of Instagram.

1. I’m doing an October photo challenge. This is the longest I’ve ever stuck with the challenge. I try every year. This is my year to finish it. I’m a couple days behind but I will finish.

2. A new episode of Tia’s Table (a podcast) came out today. If you “fall off the wagon” every time you feel like you’re not doing something perfectly this episode is for you.

3. Subscribe to my newsletter for positive vibes, recipes and workout inspiration via my personal journey.

4. Join the TVF app. The app is a fitness community that features challenges, meal plans, nutrition and fitness tracking and other activities that promote the development of healthy habits. It’s $25/mo and you get access to a coach (ME! 😆) when you have a question.

For those that asked, Cookie is still living his best doggy life. Cookie said he’s the one and NOT that pooch, okay! 😆

12/31: Lunchtime : Food is my jam. I’m not a huge snack person so when it’s time to eat I want my food to be goodt. For lunch I normally remix leftovers or I’ll have a salad.

My best tip for eating well consistently is to have a meal plan and make healthy choices readily available. When your fridge and pantry are filled with less processed choices you’ll notice that you feel fuller longer. (But only if you’re actually eating them 🫠😆)

Lunch is also the only meal that I have during the day that I enjoy in complete silence. Mindful eating is also my jam.

Before the end of the month I’ll be starting a plant powered reboot to prepare for the holiday season. I’ll be sharing my journey and meals in the app. You can join me by using the link in my bio. We’d love to have you over there! 🖤

7/31: A cozy spot & 8/31: Lazy day attire

Now that the weather is nice we have our coffee on the back porch on the weekends. We sit out there for hours sometimes. I like using that time to flip through cookbooks for meal plan inspo. This morning I great idea that I’ll be sharing in the app.

I’ve had this cookbook since 2017. My recent nutrition certification has allowed me to understand how to use this book in a new way. I can’t wait to see if it helps someone on their journey.

And as for my lazy day attire… my Mom buys me cute pajamas and I love that for me so much.

1/31: Sunday: This Sunday happens to be the start of a new (full of opportunities and possibilities to go after your health/wellness/fitness goals) and it also happens to be the official launch of coaching in the app!

The weather was beautiful today so I got outside for a walk. I hope you did something to kick this month off that celebrated your body. What you do in October shows up by Easter. Never forget that. 😉

I’m participating in a photo challenge. If I make it to the end I’m going to buy myself something.

Cozy with who I am… and this was such a big part of me. Teaching classes is something I haven’t done since the “plethora of problems” but it’s something I hope to do again. Nothing makes you more comfortable in your skin than giving your all to yourself during a workout.

This morning thing happens to be one of my favorite everyday moments. Breakfast gives me the chance to take a pause between school drop offs. It also fuels my body for a morning workout.

I’m going through an oatmeal phase right now but I’ve got some bagel ideas on deck for later this month.

Do you eat breakfast each day? Skipping breakfast will have you sluggish by 3pm and we’re too cute for that.

It truly is the most important meal of the day.

Working on the group coaching program and I’m having so many revelations and ideas. Creating something and putting it out for public consumption is stressful. I honestly don’t know how the girls are doing this on a regular basis.

The program has been designed to help us all do a dive into habit development and self-reflection.

3/25: Joy : It might be your lifestyle when you’re happy after 45 minutes of HIIT Cardio. I’m trying out the boot camp I talked about on the podcast. This was my first class. First impressions? The staff was so nice. The place was clean and cute. Everyone that showed up to the camp had really good energy. My takeaways? I need to pick heavier dumbbells before class. I also need to make sure I eat breakfast before cardio days. Body weight cardio hits different than running or cycling.

Breakfast: I make a quick breakfast for myself each morning. For the most part I try to eat eggs or oatmeal because both cook extremely fast and can take on whatever flavor I want. Sometimes I’ll remix leftovers from dinner or include vegetables to make sure I’m getting enough fuel to last until lunch.

Breakfast is also my pre workout.

Fall Fashion: Coincidentally there’s a whole article on fall fashion in Thursday’s newsletter. I’ll be sharing my must have items for women on a fitness journey. Don’t worry, the list has more than black leggings on it. Fall is my absolute most favorite of all the seasons. We love a denim jumpsuit, a Morpheus inspired look and cute sweaters with pencil skirts. I always like to throw in my carpool uniform because chances are if you ran into me at Kroger that is who you’ll get.

Side note: I miss my braids and I can feel the spirit of cornrows coming over me.

We are about to enter into the heavy food season so eating clean and working out on schedule is key. Fall is when we put in the work.

Orange: It’s root veggie season which means my favorite veggie medley is out here doing the good Lord’s work. I absolutely love this mix of carrots, zucchini, beets and red onion. You can always swap other veggies in and out but keep the carrots and red onion because they carry this medley.
