Finding Your Inner Calm Hi, I’m Michele. Helping people stay connected to themselves when someone they love is struggling. Loving without losing yourself.

Relational complexity, emotional steadiness, and self-reconnection. Hi, I’m Michele, founder of Recreate Balance. With 20+ years in holistic health, I now support caregivers, trauma survivors, and sensitive humans through EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and nervous system-informed somatic care. I’m a QMHA in Oregon, trained in EFT PS1 + PS2 through ACEP, and currently in grad school to become a licensed clinical social worker. I bring my lived experience, trauma-informed lens, and deep belief in the body’s ability to heal to every session. Here at Recreate Balance, I offer tapping sessions, somatic wellness coaching, and gentle support to help you come home to your body—without judgment, pressure, or fixing. This isn’t therapy—this is support for your emotional regulation, stress recovery, and nervous system resilience.

Sometimes when we're navigating difficult relationships or stressful circumstances, we can become so focused on everything happening around us that we lose touch with ourselves.

Having space to slow down, notice what we're experiencing, and reconnect with what we need can be helpful.

Finding Your Inner Calm offers individual, one-on-one wellness sessions that draw on self-awareness, body-based practices, EFT tapping, and practical tools for everyday life.

Sessions are 60 minutes and can be booked individually, without committing to a package.

If you're interested in learning more, visit **findingyourinnercalm.com** to explore or book an Individual Session.

Sometimes we feel guilty for enjoying our lives when someone we love is struggling.

As though having a good day means we've forgotten what they're going through.

But two things can be true at once.

We can care deeply about someone and still have moments of happiness, connection, and peace in our own lives.

One doesn't take away from the other.

Have you ever experienced that kind of guilt?

Have you ever felt guilty for having a good day when someone you love is struggling?

Maybe you’re out enjoying yourself, having a good time, and then you start thinking about what they’re going through.

And suddenly, you feel guilty for feeling okay.

But having a good day doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about them or that we don’t care.

We can love someone, worry about them, and still have moments when we’re enjoying our own lives.

Their struggles matter. And so does our well-being.

Have you ever noticed this happening to you?

We can't always change what someone we love is going through.

But we can begin to look at what happens to us while we're living alongside it.

What would feel different in your life if their situation didn't take up quite so much of your emotional energy?

Have you ever felt like you can’t be okay until someone you love is okay?

When someone we love is struggling, it’s easy to get caught up in worrying, trying to help, or wondering what we could do differently.

And somewhere along the way, we can lose touch with how we’re doing.

But caring deeply doesn’t mean we have to carry everything they’re going through.

Can we love someone deeply and still stay connected to ourselves?

Follow Finding Your Inner Calm as we explore what it means to love without losing ourselves.

Sometimes the grief isn't only about what we've lost.
It can also be about what we hoped would happen, what we thought a relationship might become, or what we wish could have been different.

Does this resonate with you?
