AgeWise Colorado's mission is to help people age well by providing free access to trusted information, services, and community resources. September was National Recovery Month, and we were honored to celebrate with the residents of Renew Co Living during their one-year anniversary celebration in Haverhill last month.

Led by Phoebe Khakali Ericson, Renew Co Living provides a supportive sober living environment for women on their recovery journey. Phoebe is also a former Innovive team member, and it has been inspiring to see her continue her passion for helping others through this meaningful work. We are incredibly proud of her success and the impact she is making in the community.

Ahead of Mental Illness Awareness Week (Oct 4. - Oct. 10), we’re reminded of the importance of understanding, compassion and access to care for people living with mental illness.

For individuals experiencing serious mental illness, care often extends beyond mental health alone. Many also face complex medical needs that require coordinated, compassionate support.

This month, Team Innovive Helps was proud to come together in support of two important causes in the communities we serve.

In Colorado Springs, our team participated as a vendor at the Race Against Su***de (hosted by the Su***de Prevention Partnership), an event dedicated to raising awareness and supporting su***de prevention. We also had team members walk the race.

In Massachusetts, Team Innovive Helps joined the Blue & Green Walk/5K to honor donors, celebrate recipients and support the lifesaving mission of New England Donor Services.

From supporting mental health and su***de prevention to recognizing the life-changing impact of organ and tissue donation, these events reflect the importance of coming together to support the people and communities around us.

We’re proud to see Kimberly Greenberg, Director of Rehabilitation & Home Health Aide Services at Innovive Health, featured in Home Health Care News’ latest look at what makes an effective home-based care plan.

Following her recognition as a member of Home Health Care News’ Future Leaders Class of 2026, Kimberly shared her perspective on why care plans must go beyond a checklist of clinical tasks. Effective plans should reflect each patient’s abilities, needs, routines and goals, while continuing to evolve as their condition changes.

As Kimberly explains, “It’s essential to get a care plan right because, in home health, we are oftentimes the single regular touchpoint for patients.”
