If not, now is a perfect time to shred those beliefs. They are simply a product of old faulty family programming; passed down through generations in an attempt to just survive.

A perfect card for today.

The King of Cups represents the emotional Rock upon which we often lean in times of need. Despite it being a masculine face card, I often think of motherly energy when working with this card.

Mothers are often the 1st place we learn 1 of 2 lessons. Either that she is someone we can trust to help us, and support us. Or that we are to fend for ourselves when the arrows of life leave us wounded.

No matter what lesson you learn, our job as adults is to play that role for ourselves. We have to learn how to nurture and mother our own selves, and feel safe in our world and our own energy.

Whether you had a nurturing mother or not, please know that I love you.
I believe in you.
I support your dreams.

Today, Uranus conjuncts the Sun. This is a free-spirited energy that reminds us to go with the flow and to be open to new wisdom, new opportunities, and new ways of looking at things.

Uranus is also the planet of awakening and is connected to kundalini energy. 🐍

Kundalini is a life force energy that lives at the base of our spine. When we awaken, the energies rise up like a snake uncoiling itself, activating and lighting up each of our chakras and beaming our aura bright and strong.

Sometimes, the way we communicate love isn't the way it's being received.

It might be time to evaluate how we are expressing and receiving those most intimate exchanges.

It's time to get real.

When we were little kids, we didn't have any problem making decisions.

We knew exactly what we wanted, and we went for it.

Hard.

Because f**k the blue cup, I only drink from red cups...

Why? Because I want it that way....

Decision making as an adult sometimes feels scary or intimidating because as small children we were constantly shut down when we voiced our desires.

We were constantly told that we couldn't have, do, or be something we knew in our heart we wanted. So when you hit that brick wall with making a decision, remember the only thing that's standing in your way is programming.

Crappy old programming given to you by people who didn't know what they were doing at the time.

Reaffirming that you always make the right decisions at the right time will help you reprogram those nasty old beliefs.

You're not responsible for continuing to hold on to s**t that didn't serve you then, aaand doesn't serve you now. 💜

It's a great day to check yourself before you wreck yourself....

Not only do we have the new moon in Aquarius tonight bringing us a flood of crisp new energy, we also have an opportunity to evaluate what is or is not in alignment with our inner child.

The 10 of cups preceding the tower tells me there are a lot of people who's old hopes/ dreams/ timelines are not in actual alignment with what their inner child desires.

This is actually fantastic news. Because this is the opportune moment to straighten that stuff out.

Get your head, heart, and soul together and go get whatever makes that little dude inside you happy.

'Twas the Saturday before Christmas, and without a doubt, I know some people who need a timeout.

The holidays can be fun. They can be jolly and merry. But no one has fun when you take on more than you can carry.

When the Queen of cups is reversed, it's important to be mindful of how much you're giving, and how much you're receiving.
