March is Women’s History Month and the theme for 2022 is “Women Providing Healing and Promoting Hope.” This year pays tribute to the tireless work and entrepreneurial leadership of clinicians and frontline workers every day, especially during the pandemic, and the recognition of the ways that women in all cultures have provided healing and hope throughout history.

Women shape the course of health and healthcare, comprising one-third of professionally active physicians in the US, 83% of nurses, and 88% of nurse practitioners. Inspired by Week, ASH decided to have their very own Hospital kindness week. Our C Suite's act of kindness was to have Waffle Crush here Monday morning. Dietary provided everyone with homemade sushi. Rocks could be purchased or painted to give to that special patient or co-worker. We also started a department Pay It Forward movement.
