Warm cinnamon rolls on a chilly afternoon, with 20g of protein in each one πŸ‚

Here's how I make them: bread flour, sweetener, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt, then 0% Greek yogurt and one egg yolk. Roll the dough out, spread on light butter, brown stevia and a dusting of cinnamon, slice, roll and bake. A little cream cheese frosting drizzled on top and they're ready. Soft and fluffy, and much kinder to my blood sugar than the bakery kind.

Cinnamon rolls with 20g of protein each, and yes, they're soft and fluffy πŸ‚

So many of you asked for this one. Bread flour, sweetener, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt, then 0% Greek yogurt and one egg yolk. Roll it out, spread on light butter, brown stevia and a dusting of cinnamon, slice, roll and bake. A drizzle of cream cheese frosting on top and they're ready. A cozy treat I can enjoy without feeling like I've undone my progress.

Apple oat cookies, the way I make them now 🍎

Dice up a couple of apples, add cinnamon, eggs, oats and a little baking powder, scoop onto a pan and bake at 180Β° until they're golden. They taste just like bakery cookies, but they don't spike my blood sugar, so I can enjoy a sweet treat in the afternoon without the guilt.

For 3 years I thought I had no willpower. I had a blood sugar problem. πŸ‡
Starving by 11am. Wired then wiped by 3pm. Standing in the kitchen at 9pm eating things I
didn't even want. 7 months of this and I'm not going back ⬇
🌞 1. morning sunlight, no sunglasses β€” 10 min resets your body clock, and your insulin
sensitivity runs on that clock.
πŸ‡ 2. Berberine Gummies β€” my non-negotiable. 500mg Berberine HCL per serving, the real
dose. Berberine supports how your cells take up glucose instead of leaving it circulating.
Stacked with Ceylon cinnamon, apple c***r vinegar, inulin fiber and black pepper for
absorption. Zero sugar β€” most gummies spike the exact thing you're trying to calm. Two
before my biggest meal, daily.

πŸ₯¦ 3. veggies and protein BEFORE carbs β€” same meal, smaller spike. Order is free.
󰣬 4. 10-min walk after eating β€” your muscles pull glucose straight out of your blood.
🚫 5. no naked carbs β€” never eat a carb alone. Always with protein or fat.
󰝫 6. lift twice a week β€” muscle is where your body stores glucose. More muscle, more
room.
😴 7. seven hours β€” one short night makes you more insulin resistant the next day.
It didn't work because I ate less. It worked because I finally stopped being hungry all the
time.
πŸ‘‰ Grab it from Amazon and tell me, what time do your cravings hit hardest? Mine was
always 3pm. πŸ’š

At 84, dancing has done more for how I feel than most workouts I've tried, and the best part
is it doesn't feel like exercise at all.
Here's what I do to stay moving like this (SAVE THISπŸ‘‡):
#2 is the difference maker for me.
🎢 1. I chose movement I actually enjoy, not movement I dread
A few times a week it's music or new dances. It works my balance and coordination without
ever feeling like a workout.
πŸ‡ 2. Keeping my energy steady so I can actually dance
You can't dance at 4pm if you're crashing at 3. Even eating well, our cells stop responding to
insulin the way they did at 30 (nobody warns you about that part lol), and that's what's
behind the afternoon slump and the standing-at-the-fridge-at-9pm thing. I started taking
berberine to support how my body handles glucose, and the crashes stopped deciding my
afternoons for me. Two Rootation Berberine gummies before my biggest meal is how I take
mine β€” 500mg of real berberine with Ceylon cinnamon, apple c***r vinegar and inulin fiber,
zero sugar (I linked the exact one in my bio or you can find it here:
https://link.amazon/B00NEAxGc
πŸͺ‘ 3. I stand up without using my hands:
Whether it's from the chair, bed, or couch. It's always tempting to push off with our arms. It's
a small thing that quietly keeps my legs and balance strong.
σ°£° 4. I get up and move every hour:
I used to sit for hours without noticing. Now the moment I catch myself sitting too long, I find
a reason to stand.
Nobody's too old to dance!
