Meet Shawndra Moore, APRN, FNP-C! 💙

Shawndra Moore is a Family Nurse Practitioner at WesTex Urgent Care with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and brings a diverse background to WesTex, having previously worked as an ER nurse, OR nurse, and paramedic.

Shawndra chose a career in healthcare because of her passion for helping and educating others. She believes that when patients understand their health and feel comfortable asking questions, they are better equipped to take an active role in their well-being.

What Shawndra enjoys most about WesTex is the opportunity to care for people in our community. She strives to make sure every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for, whether they visit with an urgent concern or need guidance about preventive care.

We’re proud to have Shawndra as part of the WesTex Urgent Care team and grateful for the compassion, knowledge, and experience she brings to our patients every day! 🩺
