Be a continuous learner, and your opportunities will be endless. 🤍✨🫶🏻

It’s conference week for our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Andrea Kaiser!

From a small-town girl whose first healthcare job was archiving paper charts at a local clinic to attending conference alongside highly respected professionals in her field, Andrea’s journey is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we stay curious, remain open to growth, and are willing to sit at tables where we have so much to learn.

If there’s one piece of advice Andrea would offer to young people or anyone standing on the edge of pursuing a dream, it’s this: Do it scared.

Take the “no’s” and setbacks as opportunities to learn. Give yourself permission to fail, find the courage to stand back up, and keep moving forward. You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the next step. And most importantly, never lose your curiosity. There is always something new to learn, someone who can teach you something, and an opportunity to become a little better than you were yesterday.

There is something truly special about continuing to learn, discovering new and innovative approaches, and bringing that knowledge back home to the rural communities that mean so much to our clinic.

Stay curious. Give grace. And remember that where we begin does not have to define how far we can go. 🤍

💜 Women-Owned Business Spotlight: Renewed Brain Health

💙 Favorite Community Event: Our favorite Mineral Point event is the Fourth of July Parade because it allows us to include our families and experience the joy and excitement through our little ones participating in the day.

🛎 Favorite Product/Service: We are honored to offer medication management and psychotherapy services to our rural community. Bringing these services home and providing access to brain health care is what inspired us when we worked in the inpatient setting and saw the increased need. Thank you to all who have supported us on our journey, we are so grateful for you.

A little transparency from Renewed 🫶🏻

Our passion is helping people, and we truly wish we could make space for everyone who reaches out to us right away.

Right now, we are accepting NEW patients for medication management with a 1–2 week wait and are currently maintaining a waitlist for therapy (please still inquire and we will add you!).

We know that reaching out for help can be a big step. We want to be transparent about what access looks like right now while continuing to do everything we can to serve our community well.

We may be a small practice, but our heart for the people we care for is anything but small.

Thank you for trusting Renewed Brain Health 💗

🍂🍁 As the darker days begin to creep in, it’s a good time to remind ourselves to use the tools and techniques that help keep us connected, grounded, and moving forward.🧡

Sometimes we have to do the hard things even when we don’t feel like it. 🫶🏻 And sometimes, taking care of our brain health looks like doing the very small things.

☀️ Call a friend.
☀️ Go grab lunch.
☀️ Join a book club or find something that gets you around other people.
☀️ Create a routine for basic hygiene and self-care before you start feeling behind.
☀️ Say your affirmations - even when you don’t quite believe them yet.
☀️ Notice and appreciate those little moments of sunshine.
☀️ Get outside when you can.
☀️ Challenge the “I have to” thoughts with “I get to.”

And most importantly, remind yourself:

💪 I can do hard things.
🧡 I don’t have to feel motivated to take the next step.
🙌 Small steps still count.

The goal isn’t to make every day feel easy. It’s to keep showing up for ourselves, especially on the days when it’s harder. 🫶🏻

And if you need a little extra support this season, we continue to WELCOME NEW PATIENTS for medication management at Renewed Brain Health. 💗

💙Last Friday, we stopped by Mineral Point Elementary and Middle/High School to drop off some snacks and affirmations for the staff as they roll into the start of another school year. 💙

Teachers truly are some of the unsung heroes on the front lines of our children’s brain health.🩵They see our kids on the good days, the hard days, and everything in between. We know some days can be heavy and challenging, but they continue to show up, encourage, support, and pour so much into helping our kids learn and grow.

We’re so thankful for the teachers and school staff who make such a difference in the lives of our kids. Sometimes a little appreciation can go a long way. 🫶🏻

🩵MARK YOUR CALENDARS - SEPTEMBER 26TH!💜

This September, we invite you to join us for the ✨BENS Hope Annual Su***de Awareness Walk/Run✨- an event dedicated to remembering, connecting, and reminding others that they are never alone.

We are incredibly honored that our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Andrea Kaiser, has been graciously asked to speak at this year’s event. 🫶🏻

Andrea will share a message about looking beyond the surface, recognizing the signs that someone may be struggling, and the incredible impact we can have when we simply slow down, reach out, and remind someone that they matter.

Because sometimes the person who needs help doesn’t look like they need help. 🫶🏻

👉🏻Sometimes it’s the person who is always smiling.
👉🏽The one who is always there for everyone else.
👉🏾The one who says, “I’m fine.”

And sometimes, a simple “I’m here” can mean more than we will ever know.

🩵💜 Come walk with us. 💜🩵
- Come remember those we’ve lost.
- Come support those who are struggling.
- Come stand beside families who continue to carry their stories.
- Come help raise awareness and break the stigma surrounding mental health and su***de.

And most importantly, come remind someone that they are special in this world. 🫶🏻

As we head back to school… 💗✏️📓

Parents, if this season feels like a lot, you are not alone. 🫶🏻

The schedules. The school supplies. The new routines. The earlier bedtimes. The endless list of things that need to be done before that first morning arrives.

And somewhere in the middle of trying to make sure everything is ready, it can be easy to forget to simply be present.

So before the backpacks are zipped and the alarm clocks are set, pause.

Look at your children.

Really look at them. 🥹

Notice the way they laugh. The way they say your name. The little things they do that you know you’ll miss someday.💗

Because here’s the hard truth:

They will not be this age again.

Next year, they’ll be a little taller. A little more independent. Their voice may sound a little different. They’ll have new interests, new stories, new friends, and new pieces of the world that don’t belong entirely to you anymore.

And that is beautiful. ✨

But it can also hurt a little.

So read the bedtime story - even if you’re exhausted.
Sit on the edge of their bed for five extra minutes.
Let them tell you the story you’ve already heard three times.
Ask your older child what they’re excited about - and what they’re afraid of.
Hold their hand a little longer.
Give them the extra hug.

And tell them.

Tell them you love them. Tell them you’re proud of them. Tell them that no matter how big they get, they will always have a safe place in you. 💗

The backpacks can wait.

The house can wait.

The list can wait.

Because one day, you may look back and wish you could have just one more ordinary night with the person standing in front of you right now.

So take a breath.

Give yourself grace. 🫶🏻

You don’t have to make this season perfect.

Just don’t let the rush of getting ready cause you to miss the moments you are getting ready for. 💗

☀️🧡🫶🏻 You have the power. Trust yourself enough to use it. 🫶🏻🩵☀️

Wow… what an incredible few days at the PSI Perinatal Conference! 💙 Postpartum Support International

We came home with so much new knowledge, meaningful connections, and valuable resources that we can’t wait to share with our community.

One of the most encouraging takeaways was seeing Wisconsin’s commitment to expanding access to perinatal mental health resources. This is such an important step forward.

Pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, pregnancy loss, and the transition into parenthood can be beautiful - but they can also be incredibly overwhelming. Too many mothers (and fathers) are struggling in silence, unsure where to turn or wondering if anyone truly understands.

We want you to know this: you do NOT have to be a patient at Renewed Brain Health to access these amazing ‼️FREE‼️ resources.

One of the highlights of the conference was learning about the wide variety of FREE virtual support groups available for every stage of the perinatal journey. Whether you’re expecting, adjusting to life with a new baby, navigating infertility, healing from pregnancy loss, or simply looking for connection, there is a community ready to welcome you.

No one should have to navigate these seasons alone. 🫶🏻
